Thanks, yeah it was all shot on the fly by accident. I can do these kind of videos every day anytime on the fly and even better than I did before, just most artist that contact me never have a budget. As you can see this was a no budget and it was all about feeling of the song that made it even more natural to shoot.
Say this every day to yourself for motivation. We need this to today. Said it, repeat it over and over and over, and you will move closer to your dreams.
One more thought...I think this song represents a spiritual connectivity between her and the listeners that doesnt come around too often..(John Lennon's imagine, Bob Marley's Jammin, or even Common's the light etc) and based off her vocals, she has proceeded to be vocally immortalized for generations to come. The melody is so simple but resonates with harmony and inner justification...Naw, that doesnt sum it up.....
I LOVE this video! It captures the essence of Goapele much better than the more commercialized video. In this one she appeared to be free to live, love and learn, in the other video she seemed caged and rigid. A shame the industry still has not learned to let talent be expressed in the way the artist meant it to be.
Man I really love this. Your very good. I know I'm going to definitely check out your other work. For one man, this is fantastic. Naturalization is one thing I find admirable most in artists. Thank you.
no effects...!, i still cant get over this video nicely edited...lighting in the background for me makes the video 100 times better...i wish there was more videos out there that uses the natural effects of nature..
Well now....the first time i heard this song was at work..i didnt hear the lyrics but that keyboard resonated in the kitchen and i thought" who is that?"..kinda reminds me of a Raphael Saadiq production. He could sing this or rework it properly! Anyway, just wanted to throw my two cents out....her voice fits this tune better than any of her other songs..it gets down into you like many of Sade's songs highlighting her willingness to expose her flaws and still make you love to press replay....
