The city of Manila is a mess.. Other cities in Metro Manila are more functional and disciplined and show the true economic strength of the country. The issue with the City of Manila is the mentality of Manileños.. The city attracts the desperados, fugitives and low mannered people. Too much crime, pollution, tambak na basura, feral gangs, street kids, depressing homelessness, modus etc.. it's better in other cities in Metro Manila... BGC is the true downtown of Metro Manila. I feel bad for all the tourists who visit there thinking Manila itself is meant to be the safest, most developed, and most civilized part of Metro Manila. Many of them sadly don't know about BGC..
Paolo Villaggio an Italian comedian said that traffic in Rome makes you vomit He hasn't been to Manila if he has he would die from continuous vomiting or shoot himself
