I first heard this song on TV in 1973 when Privilege was played in the US late at night and I taped it and played this song for years. It took me years before I actually learned what the movie was or was able to find it again, but this song and the first "Free me" went through my head my whole life...and I'm not religious at all....it's just a good song. So glad you uploaded it. I wish I could find and download a good complete recording. Again, thanks.
I had exactly the same experience. I did track down the SONG a couple of years ago but not THIS version which is so much more haunting and memorable. Now I have this and am happy. And saving copies all over the place as I lost the former lesser versions when my hard disk crashed and I had stupidly not recorded the name and performer of the song.
