Have you all looked at drone footage yet ? Especially at night ? Let us all get some more spectacular images before it pops. Drones keep the people out of harm's way and gives us clear close up views which wouldn't be possible with a camera person. But great going so far. Thanks for the update. I'm in Bim but I'm watching this and many more in the region . We all need to be more aware of how explosive these can be. Mt Helen's. Remember? Post a short clip of how that kicked off. That should wake a few people up.
i would like to know about lava movement and thoughts on the shifting in the plates and all the earthquakes going on and the energy being felt by the volcano....much thanks...will there be a live feed people can observe?
Installation of additional volcano monitoring equipment is our priority at the moment. Installation of cameras limited to scientific observation is in progress.
One of the primary gases is carbon dioxide, which can be lethal in high concentrations. There are also some traces of carbon monoxide but to a lesser extent. For more info on volcanic gases see: www.ivhhn.org/uploads/IVHHN_gas_pamphlet_English.pdf
@@avalynbailey2833 Hi Avalyn, thanks for clarifying. At this time, no lahars have been recorded in SVG. Read our full update here: facebook.com/uwiseismic/posts/10157848182269327

Please be careful and ensure everything is quite knowledgeable so there will not be a premature eruption. Safety first. God speed and guidance.

Ever heard of live streaming the progress on RUclips? Just saying
Are y'all talking about carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide?
I would assume that both gases are emitted and are equally harmful.

That is not the right size
What are you referring to, is it the dome? If so, kindly give us an approximate size of it in comparison with the old dome. Thanks!

Another counterproductive comment from the usual suspect... Send them the script of what you want to be said in the next video then :)
