Hey, nice job with that, I have the same bike (well probably it is the newer version) and was thinking of the same upgrade. I find a big bore cylinder kit, but there is no cylinder head coming with it. Where did you get yours? Would you tell me everything that is required for the upgrade, and is there a big difference once everything is done. Cheers!
These bikes are better left standard ,if you want them to last .Company’s like Honda spend millions on R&D to get the best balance of top speed ,performance ,economy & reliability .Then some numpty In a shed thinks they know better ,you have just fitted a big bore piston onto a crankshaft that was designed & balanced for a lighter 125 cc piston & bore .Even with the standard engine the bikes need to be ridden with some modicum of mechanical empathy not flat out everywhere & only for 20 or 30 miles before resting engine for a while .These engines only hold 0•8 litre of oil filtered through a basic centrifugal oil filter & mesh system ,they are designed to get from A to B economically & reliable ,why kill a good friend ? If you want performance get yourself a machine designed for the job .Leave the Honda Innova & other cub type machines for those that ride & appreciate them for what they are & not what they are not .
I appreciate where your coming from, but the bike was nearly beyond repair and I’m giving it a new life, sometimes building something is more fun, I have a standard one as well, thanks for the input
@@roll2adventurewithstephene685 Ok I know we all like fun & if original parts are not obtainable it’s better to keep it running than not .The thing is original parts are available for the Innova & just as easy to get as cheap as the gash Chinese big bore kits .This would have preserved two standard innovas instead of only one .Rebuilding with different parts is not proper building it’s just part swopping .if everyone was a philistine & bodged up innovas & made them none standard ,there wouldn’t be a genuine example left .Thanks for the reply we will have to agree to disagree but I hope you still have fun otherwise a poor Innova will have been sacrificed in vain 👍
Question: why does my bike (honda innova 125) bogs out in first gear when moving off, sometimes in 2nd gear? Engine oil is in good condition, air filter is new but still same issue..

Where did you you buy everything for and how much all in all? I’m hoping to see it up and running soon as it’s summer now. 🤪
All on eBay, not long just been busy

More than likely a carb problem, clean fuel and filter and clean the carb should be sort it, that’s if it’s standard
@@roll2adventurewithstephene685 chers thanks
