Is it possible to connect a clp 446 simply by switching to the same channel that other clp 446 radios are on ?

That's hard to say. If the CLP446 is the same frequency band and you have both radios programmed to the same channel. The radios are not all programmed the same. Sorry for the delay in answering your messsage

I’m not sure what you’re asking. We used these radios in a lot of department stores. We now have, Motorola does not produce those radios any more, that suit various department stores. Let me know if you want more details. Where are you located?

Yes, yes you do as they can't reach the 476-477Mhz of our free channels.
