The Peavey Transtube Bandit 112 1 x 12 Combo Amplifier is an 100W transtube amp, featuring a vintage/classic/warm switch on the clean channel, and a classic/modern high gain switch on the lead channel that completely changes its tonal character.
Delivering anything from clean sparkly warm tones to high gain crunchy vibes, reacting in a way that a valve amplifier would do. Considered one of the hottest amps of its range, the Peavey Transtube Bandit is perfect for the gigging musician.
This man, this man here can play anything with anything and it sounds extraordinary!
Yes- I like to go to this channel just to hear this dude play!
I have a Peavey bandit and fender tube amps. I always choose the peavey bandit when I grab an amp for gigging. I tried to mod it with different speakers. The original speaker sounds best.
Whta pedals do i need on this amp? I play metal and rock..
@@anonymousguitarist9096 any hi gain dist pedal will do the job
Which speakers did you try in it?
@@anonymousguitarist9096 just an Overdrive to push the dirty channel.
I bet you with a Celestion V Type or Vintage 30 sound Way Better
For the price this is an absolute beast the tones u can get out of this are brilliant ive had mine for nearly 2 years. It took a lot of messing with different tones to find the sweet spot but now damnn i love it. Much better than some of the crap at this price range
Peavey is definitely innovative. The VYPYR and VIP lines "kick A$$" in the solid state world. Much better than the Katanas but the BOSS Nextone amps are apparently very close or just as good. I never underestimate Peavey to deliver the GOODS!
The best demo for this ampli
Awesome amp and great history of bandits. I want to know when they will make a new one though. Peavey should refresh the bandit, give a newer better look, better knobs you can actually read easier, maybe try to make it a little lighter, better power options for home use. I had this version and even with the switch set to 25% power in the back sound control was challenging to go between too quiet and then super loud, it wants to get LOUD real quick haha.
Underrated channel by far..
I’ve had an old Bandit 112 for years and it’s a killer amp. I’m just learning how to really use the thing because I’m a couch Rock Star. That’s actually how I got here. I was seeking tips on amplifier use. Been playing 50 years and can’t use an amp. Lmao. I ought to kick my own ass.
Same😂😂
Thought u said you had the old bandit for 112 years 😂
I love this amp. I order black knob on amazon, now i can really see the setting.
It's good to kick the Other's Guitarist's with Marshall's Amplifier. Really Recommended. I'm done since 2011. 🇲🇾
Killer amp! Plus a killer player- great demo
Who is he ?
The demos are always miked so it sounds better.
The mobs look cheap and the corner pieces are plastic, but you could deafen the neighbors if want to get loud.
this amp is the loudest fucking thing on the planet. The other guitarist in my band had a 3x12 cab, I just switched my bandit to 100% on the back. And it blew the fucking roof off, I could barely hear the drummer. Bottom line, you don’t need a 100w head with a 4x12 cab if u got this
Yeah got one it's brutal, the lead sounds great with my Tele.🗽🛸
Great player!
Really good video...
Fine player!
Does it have built in distortion, cause mine doesn't seem to do distortion even if I mess with the settings. Also it buzzes unbearably if I turn post gain past like 3.
Hi there, we can confirm this does have a gain channel!
Why is my guitar super freaking loud when using the lead channel? I can only control it by post gain and it goes super loud putting it above just 1, anybody know how?
I own a peavey bandit like that and im having trouble to get the sweet spot in all clean channel and lead channel, any tips for the eq settings. Thank you very much
@@edd9157No help at all; I'm pretty sure they did 'experiment.' 😂
What Ibanez guitar is he using??
Can anyone tell me how to achieve a dirtier tone with this amp I’m having trouble
Add a distortion pedal! Or use an overdrive on the gain channel...
@@FretFriendGWaLIn other words, use another preamp (which is what Overdrives and Distortions really are) because the amp itself can't cut it.
This 'demo' is misleading, if you're not really showing what the amp truly sounds like, or what settings are being used.
Those close-ups on the controls are absolutely useless. Took me a minute to realise the knobs never moved, and no cord in...
The stupidest decision Peavey ever made was NOT making this amp Master Volume and also making the clean channel too loud and to tone weak
what settings are you useing horrible review
It's not a review, it's a demo to show u the capabilities of the amp. In the manual of the peavey Bandit there are some settings to give u different sounds.
This video sucks! What are the settings??? How are you getting the Bandit 112 to sound so good???
There miking them so you can't get the real sound of them.
All that Peavey hum and buzz.
@jeffgerek6180 so if you sang through a mic is that not your real voice or sound?
@@jasonstacey8577If you sang through a mic, and then the sound was run through all kinds of processing, no that wouldn't be your real voice. The point is we don't know what's on the other end of the mic in this so-called demo. But several comments say they can't get their Bandits to sound like this.
