They are spacers, I did not reuse them. I just did it without and it’s worked fine since…hasn’t broken again. If you have time, and they come off easy, you could reuse them.
Hows it holding up since you replaced it? My dealership told me I need to types of adhesive, (2nd one unknown spot). Looks like the primer you used was good? Anything tips/things you would change since you've done it already?
It seems fine, doesn’t look like it moved. I didn’t put those plastic things back in, probably the other adhesive they were talking about, it looked like it was used to line it up from the factory. My way worked fine.

What was the blue piece you showed? Im about to change mine and mine has a vanila color one that look exactly like that blue piece you showed.
