I have now added Rottnest Island to my ever growing list of places to visit😍 also maybe you've got mild asthma if you feel like you can't breathe in enough when exercising
8222 Islands in Australia 🇦🇺 ...if you haven't riden bike for along time its harder than you think isn't it..did you know in oz at Easter you can get chocolate billby's instead of choc rabbits ...
I live in Melbourne now but I miss WA. Melbourne has a lot to offer in terms of eateries, shopping, culture, nightlife etc. but WA has plenty of strong points too and its a bit more of an outdoors place, due to the climate. One thing I have noticed that a lot of people tend to get wrong about the CBD is that it tends to be quiet on the weekend but busy during the week, when everyone is in the office and all the shops are open. There is plenty to do in the suburbs or out of town on the weekend and there are massive shopping centres dotted around, plus the beach. Actually I was going to say that there are much better beaches than Fremantle, so I hope that is an indication. The city absolutely sprawls - particularly along the coast. Northbridge is quite busy on the weekend in terms of clubs and pubs, but there are other places to head out to. There are also a lot of places you missed in Fremantle. One thing you probably didn't get to appreciate is the huge British expat community in Perth. The other thing is that you've got to remember that you are visiting the state in the middle of winter, so the weather may not show WA's best side at all times. The major population centres outside of Perth are predominantly between Perth and Margaret River/Augusta. The road system and choices you make along the way down, and how much time you spend in the South West region is going to significantly impact your perception of the state. The government has spent a lot of money in recent years creating a bypass freeway that cuts out all of the towns and cities along the way down for efficient transport/ trucking etc. So I have seen RUclipsrs drive all the way down and basically conclude there is nothing in WA, except Perth. This is very untrue and a little upsetting - its just that they've cut inland and missed major cities including Rockingham, Mandurah, Bunbury and Busselton. It might be worth spending a bit of extra time to actually drive through each of these, plus the drive will be less monotonous and you'll see far more sights, including the coast and the waterways. I would actually stop in Busselton though to check things out, including the 1.6km jetty and the bay. I personally think the most interesting part of WA is between Busselton and Margaret River. As you go along, you get the most picturesque calm beaches like Meelup and Eagle Bay, and then you turn Cape Naturaliste and you get to arguably the best surf beaches in the world from Yalingup to Gracetown and Margaret River, before reaching Cape Leeuwin and Augusta where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet. The area has some of the best wineries in the world, as well as fresh produce, chocolate, cheese etc. I am shocked when I seen RUclipsrs fly through that area and not stop for a fantastic meal at one of the big wineries like Leeuwin, Vasse Felix etc. They're completely oblivious to the fact that this is an area that many acknowledge as their favourite, of the entire the country. I recall the most memorable meal of my life was had at Leeuwin Estate in the middle of winter. There are many interesting caves in the area too. These sorts of opportunites diminish greatly after you leave this area, so please try to make the most of it. Tourism is strongly promoted down that way, so if you want some ideas or you want to ask questions, the tourist bureau in Busselton or one of the other towns will have heaps of information. I grew up on a farm down there and I keep having thoughts about how to dump the corporate life and get back there or if I could even head back to retire. One last tip is to be mindful of speed cameras. Every state polices speed differently - in WA the police put up disguised black roadside cameras in random locations and you might not even realise you've passed one. The fines are quite expensive, so its best not to go much over the limit if you can help it. I really hope you have a great time and the weather holds up.
Wow thank you so much for such a long message & for watching the video!! We’re actually currently travelling the coast & have stopped at a lot of these places already & can confirm they’re all gorgeoussss!!
@@MollyThompsonx_ Sweet - just thought you might have had the chance to read a bit of this while driving about. I feel a bit sad when people come all the way out here and somehow miss a lot of the key attractions, don't have such a good time, and then get the wrong impression. I'm glad it sounds like you guys didn't and I look forward to following you around WA.
Hey. Maybe you could check if you have exercise-induced asthma. That's what I have and your description sounds alot alike. Also I'm not that fit, but :)
Hey Molly, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I loved your videos. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts for you?
Have you been checked for asthma? Sorry if that’s too personal or obvious but I was the exact same when exercising (I still am tbh cause I’m also unfit 🤣) BUT I found out I have asthma and now use my blue inhaler when I exercise and it helps SO much 🤯 😅 Also…QUOKKAS🥹🫶🏼
I actually haven’t been and I do keep saying that I want to be tested for it!! I definitely will get round to it when I’m home because more than anything I find it super annoying when I’m doing any kind of exercise coz I always have to stop to feel like I can inhale properly😅😭 but they’ll probably just tell me I’m unfit😅😅😅
Glad to see you are always happy Molly.. God bless you 👍😘

I had similar with feeling like I was not able to get enough oxygen even though i was quite fit, it turned out to be bad anemia, lol
Omg that’s actually really interesting because I actually am anaemic 👀
What’s the spider sitch in the west?! X
The whole spider thing is so blown out of proportion. Yes Australia has spiders. No, they are not everywhere waiting to attack you.
Monster spiders here ..soon as you arrive at the airport they attack and climb into your luggage
We honestly haven’t seen a single one!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Should they re-name this place as 'Quokka Island'?
Hello beautiful 😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️
