i have 4 of these. i love them. i think 3 of them work but one there's missing power to the pre amp. Probably a fuseable resistor some where. the main amp ic is ok. you will always find that the grey inside the tuner always turns brown/cream. its supposed to be a very Bright Grey colour. i've repaired them hinges before, i used the screw sleeves that go inside the rubber mounts on a cassette motor, they always work. and hey that is rare you have an M90 with Blue Woofers, they normally fade and turn grey, unless someone has sprayed them back to blue again, a lot of collectors do that. i remember when i my dad was buying me my first proper boombox in 1983, i saw an M90 for sale in the shop.

I nearly picked up another 575 yesterday but I really need to get on with the ones on the shelf 😂Thanks for the heads up on the hinges - hopefully can be sorted then, because overall I reckon it is pretty ok. As for the M90, she's all original. I bought it from the original owner. Totally unmodified. It was running slow but I took a pint on it and luckily it was just the belts. Could have gone horribly wrong, but there aren't many opportunities to pick up a clean one these days.
