He belonged to a winning generation, but individually he is not an extra class, players like Verón, Gerrard, Lampard, Beckham,Scholes, Redondo, Pirlo, Xavi, Vieira, Seedorf were so much more brilliants. Veron, for example, won a Libertadores by himself as an old man, with the Estudiantes club. I don't know if Kroos would do a feat like this without a star team.
