Seeing them take the double dragon neon route killed my willingness to give this game a try. I tried the original rushing beat and honestly wasn't tempted to even play past stage 3. This is kind of what i fear for the remake of final fight, if it ever gets made, with streets of rage 4 setting the standard so high, they would have to up the ante, but with the series' last two titles, they really have so much to make up for. Rushing beat is no different, with 2 whole decades going by without a new game.
The Original Rushing Beat (Rival Turf) is kind of boring, I have to agree with you. But I recommend you to take a look at Brawl Brothers and The Peacemakers, they are way better than that Final Fight Clone that was the first game.
And yeah, Final Fight 4 will have to do a lot to impress the fans, as you said, especially after SoR4.
Yeah I’m with you . The animations looks a little stiff and I prefer 2d sprites. That being said the combat looks really good. I’ll probably wind up really liking it once I play it.
Looks like its very early to say to much, this is the first time hearing about this, and i must say im quite excited, still play through the SNES games, still waiting patiently for that Final Fight remake that got rumoured a few years back....
Great vids mate 👍 theres nothing quite like a good beat em up, I'll be keeping a eye on this one
Yeah, the game has 6 months up to the release date and I hope they improve the visuals a little bit. The combat seems interesting tough!
I was not a fan of DD Gaiden's visuals but was one of my fave games. I would try it if it comes to Xbox marketplace.
I'm late to the party, but wanted to comment. I remember playing Rival Turf with my cousin as kids, and only recently learned it was part of a series. I've been getting back into the beat 'em up games the last few years, and this has my interest. The graphics look very cheap, but I'm hoping it plays well. It's now July 2024 as I write this, and no release date yet, but hopefully we can get some new trailers and the game will be a nice budget title. Thanks, Savino!
Rival Turf, Brawl Brothers and Peace Keepers will always be one of my favorite Beat Em Ups.
In my Top 3 hands down
1: Final Fight
2: Streets of Rage
3: Rushing Beat
That’s my all time top 3 favorite beat em ups.
They are really awesome games!! I am hoping the best for this one, although it looks a little off in this trailer.
But I always keep my hopes up!😁
Wow, this one came out of nowhere! I agree it looks a bit rough, but I hope they can improve it before release. Another thing I didn't like is that the enemy AI seems a bit passive, especially during the air combo footage. It reminds me of those kung fu movies where all the goons surround the hero and then proceed to politely fight him one at a time.
Well noticed. I cautiously awaiting for this one. Let's see if things improve until the release date
Quite hyped for this! I loved the 3 Rushing Beat games, and whilst I agree it looks quite poor as of now, the combo potential looks great. The moves the wrestling guy is pulling off look interesting, I'm certainly up for that! Thanks for showing it off, I bet it will look better next year nearer the release time. I am hopeful.
Same here, huge fan of the Rushing Beat Trilogy. I am also hoping for some graphics improvements but the combat being good, I am all for it.
I like it, it reminds a little of the takeover the game, the combat system it looks smooth, and the charas dialogues windows the make it even more interesting imho. Thank you for the in depths details brother!🤙🏻
Always a pleasure to create this kin of content for you guys!! And yeah... reminds a little the Takeover!! Fun game btw!!
@@beatemup I'd like you to make a review for Night Slashers X bro, I am sure it will be outstanding!👏🏻
Sure thing bro, I have some videos to finish first, but it will come soon
@@beatemup
Thanks!🙏🏻
Heard of this same Time you did as I heard City Connection now owns all of Jaleco IP now!
@@paxhumana2015 I know but not that aware of it yet!
A levelling system, air combos, and chain grapples, I’m interested.
Oh yes, the combat definitely looks great!
Yeah, after seeing games like SoR4 or TMNT SR, or even other incoming titles that chooses pixel graphics or handdrawn, this is... pretty rough to look at. I think the company behind this, City Connection, are reviving a number of old Jaleco games, but I wonder what their budgets are...
Interestingly the robot at the end was an enemy unit that could be made playable in the third game, and walking "into" the screen and not just from left to right was something the third game had, bur I don't think the second game did. So they may be mixing and matching some things from the games here.
If anything I feel like this looks kind of like a Marvel vs Capcom Infinite situation. It may very well be a fun game, but it's made on a budget that prioritizes gameplay over graphics. Perhaps they can polish it, but this could be rough...
You right about the budget. They probably didn't had enough to pay for 2D artists. I hope the gameplay feels good and they improve at least a little bit the visuals. I am a huge fan of the franchise and I was super hyped by the announcement.
I really hope this is a extremely early build, like it was the case of GI Joe.
I love Rushing Beat series. First game was meh, but it's sequels were much better! I love it along with Streets of Rage series!
One of my favorite beat' em up series too! The second one is my favorite!!
@@beatemupAlso I'm one of those weird people who love both versions of 3rd game. But seriously what were they thinking when they localized The Peace Keepers. I can forgive bad translation (Streets of Rage 3 is a good example) but SERIOUSLY, removing most music, are they out of their mind?
The Graphics remind me of Golden axe 3D on the PlayStation 2 🤔
Duuude, I completely forgot about this one!! I need to replay it asap!!! Thanks!!!
It was on a Collection of other Games I think which were remade in 3D 👍😎
And I remember Rival Turf on the SNES.. I actually used to love it Especially the bosses music . My favourite levels were the night time street level think it was level 3.. and the jungle level . 👍😎
Do you know if the game is still coming out?
I hope so, but there has been a huge lack of news.
oooof
Cara, eu achei isso muito, muito ruim. Parece aqueles asset flip feito aos montes na Unity.
Pois é... eu tive a mesma impressão.
My thoughts exactly.😇
The game isn't looking great, that's for sure! Bu the way, the link for your site have an extra W here on youtube. You might want to fix that.
Thanks, man!!! Already fixed!
There’s Dreamcast look in a good way & there’s Dreamcast look in a bad way. I’d say this is the bad way. & the movement looks slow & stiff.
I don’t like this art style
Should’ve kept the graphics from peacekeepers 💫✊
You're absolutely right, my dude!
