I would have acidic Alien and mellina over sonya and Jason.but Jason is probably as good as top ten.for me relentless is harder,I go panic mode when my buttons are reversed lol
I would say full outo Jaquie and grand master subzero are honorable mentions too
Acidic is not top tier anymore. Konjurer is underused and is best variation now imo. Full auto jaquie is definetly top 10. If you ever fought smart (no just brainless zone) full auto jaquie you would know. She has it all. About GM sub, he is not even in top 20 variations. Ppl just play matchup wrong. If you dont know matchup he is monster.
@@ardet1527 GM sub is definitely in top 20, you say ppl play the matchup wrong but he still has some of the best setplay in the whole game and his chip damage + the plus frames is outta control lol
@@luigiwiiUU Dink just named 10 variations better than him, I can name easily 10 more. No gm subs in top 8s in any tourney, noone won tourney with gm. Key to win gm sub is to punnish his clone cancels and make sub come to you. He is just anoying to fight against. But if you stay focused and dont jump in clone, he is easy to beat.

Possessed kenshi is INSANE. He has 3 armored moves. Teleport, overhead and the push, the last two were plus. And his low ex was a launcher lol
Why do people have this hate on kenshi is beyond me . He has a ex launcher ?!! What does that even mean ?!! Triborg literaly has a B1 in to laucher lol He doesnt even need to spend meter . Predator as fullscreen safe low projectiles . How is that not consider Broken as shit !???!!!!
Kenshi normals arent even that good . His slow has fuck . Kenshi recovery specials are slow as shit .
Without meter is not that much of a threat . YEAH Tweedy and kamazi are great with him , but you can see how he atruggles against characters like liu kang kung lao Tremor smoke or even cage . The zoning in this game is not that great .
I agree you 100%. There are so many characters with way better tools. Kenhi's back dash sucks. He has no overhead combo starter. Corner combos arent that great. He is by no means op. Smh

Edit: I’d put Tremor universally over Liu. Flame Fist could do work, and Dualist is fun, but they’re no Dragon’s Fire. Tremor is strong in all variations, including variationless. Crystalline just had the good graces of having a hit of invincibility, and a low launcher that could be cancelled for mixups.

Displacer raiden. 6 frame combos starter. Exceeds in the corner + corner carry in his combos. Plus frames for days.
Far teleport keeps everything safe.
Plus his enhanced teleport has armor, and is a 1 frame startup.
Meaning he can armor gaps for a full combo punish.
He is not S tier. I'm telling you this as a person who has him as the main character.
It is extremely heavy in execution. He has only b1 from the mids. f2 is too slow. And his ud teleports may not be squeezed out, which is why it is very problematic for them to play against Liu Kang

Yo dink, how about Cutthroat Kano? His blade slice move is plus 15 on hit and his b1 starts up in 13 frames and his b3 starts up in 14 frames. Basically, his 50/50 is guaranteed and he could loop it over and over again. On top of that, you can cash out on a 70% damage combo and I'm not joking about that. He does so much damage that can be done in an actual match. On top of all that, he has the fastest moves in the game. His air ball starts up in 2 frames and is an overhead. The only downsides is that he has lots of gaps, his normals are quite stubby, and his grab leaves him at -1 for some reason.
I used to play him, he was top tier for sure with really fun corner combos, then he got nerfed like one of the last patches of the game. That player Mustard was super annoyed with that patch because Kano was his main.
@@ndshreddermn He's still viable, the only thing that was a major nerf if I remember correctly is his B121 not coming out if B1 was blocked which is -15 on block but no one punishes it since it moves him back and no one is really prepared to punish it. I'm sure there's more but other than that, Kano is one of the very few characters that didn't have his 50/50 removed (ex. D'vorah and her f22) or slowed down (ex. Erron Black and his f1)
I feel like commando is really good, fuckn 9 frame mid into command grab, if you EX it hits even on hit. Bnbs are 30+ if you can manage confirming into exball cancel you can even restand into comand grab
@@eyesofmuaddib3431 Kano doesn't have a restand in the Commando variation and his mid is OK. The speed is good but lots of pokes beat out his mid unfortunately but at least it's a great anti air and great for checking people.
I always thought MK11 had a clear top 5-10 MKX however every character is viable. The biggest problem with MK11 is the characters are not powerful enough the whole game feels toned down. Perhaps they shouldn’t have done variations this time around if the characters had all their moves and I didn’t have to choose I wouldn’t have quit playing in like 3 months the game feels so boring especially when compared to MKX.

Same. Stopped playing in maybe 2 months. I did the story once and learnt the longest combos in the game in practise mode and didn’t touch the game again especially when I got non stop online matches with sweaty tryhards

@@bentramer4281 most of the time people will mention the game play and mechanics just not being fun but that’s only part of it there are other issues like the roster Spawn for example they waited too long to put him in he would have been a better character in MKX, the game was out for a year before they even added Mileena who turned out to be not good, they left out Ermac and Reptile. I’m just saying the character choices are questionable. The game is also full of purple skins and bright colors the atmosphere and characters don’t feel sinister and intimidating like you would expect from a Mortal Kombat game.

Armor armor armor all is safe, litle pluses here and there, ex fireball +10 (around that), forw3 amasing mid, the pooooookessss, the command grab
When me and my cousins play,you're not allowed to play as alien and tremor because there is always just that one ability that is to op and its so frustrating
My youngest cousin like using those two,only using aliens tail and tremors rock.Anytime she pick one of them,we don't play the game with her for that round.

I agree with your top 5 for sure. I always thought assassin was better than royal storm but I see more people play royal storm so it’s a valid argument. If you’re taking suggestions on videos, would it be possible to see you play some 3D era MK? I think that’s where you mentioned you started playing fighting games or MK(?).
A list like this is super hard to make and basically no one will agree with one another so props for making one! Personally I would take out Sonya and replace with Mileena and take out Jason and replace with Raiden like you said. Then mix the order around some. Crystalline is crazy probably top 3 he just gets mashed on too hard to be #1 in my eyes. I feel like Shinnok is a little overrated and that’s my unpopular opinion. I feel like Hellfire belongs somewhere in here in the 7-10 range but I have no idea how I would order it. Awesome vid

I've had way more trouble with Liu Kang than I've ever had with crystalline. if you had a fast two hitting armoured move you could usually bypass the crystal shield. and his lack of strong mids makes getting his pressure started difficult. Not that he's a bad character by any means, but I've seen him in the #1 spot on lots of lists and it doesn't match up with my personal experience, maybe just the players I've fought *shrug*
This is a pro list, crystilline is better then liu in that setting, tremor is hard to play at a beginner/online level. But the highest level of play, tremor has everything you could want, it doesnt mean he runs through every match up, but he wins a lot better than liu in many match ups
Once you realize tremors D1 guarantees a F1 on hit tremors pressure is so easy.

I was thinking that Alien was gonna take the number #1 spot but tremor isn’t a bad pick actually can’t argue that. Jason as #10 especially “unstoppable” made sense to me because HES SO EASY TO LEARN and PLAY in my opinion probably the easiest player to learn honestly

i’m surprised tanya wasn’t on the list, at least pre nerf tanya. she was an absolute menace to fight then, and she still is now just in a more bearable way
Jason....his hug grab was safe on whiff and he had a sting final Friday that is a great mid into a grab...with the grab works on if the mid hits u or if u block
Pred hqt had weakness...his armour was 1 hit the 2nd worst in the game after sky drop
Sonya also had insta dive kick..
Kitana had insta air fans...no mix but he can extend/convert of almost anything and she have good mids..starcharger kitana was a beast
Kenshi...ugh he ALWAYS has bar..prob but armor in the game...he has strings ppl do and abuse the teleport
Smoke..the thing u didn’t mention he had good strings and he could flow thru ppl attacks and full combo punish no blocking needed...also when he does alot of his smoke bases strings u couldn't really see what he was doing cuz if all the smoke on the screen...

You just have to put more work to open up after mimicry. Still a lot chip damage after mimicry buff into plus frames. Ex amulet is +14 it jails into D4

Flame fist should not be on this list. Its one variation per character and dragons fire is better than flame fist. Displacer doesn’t have a good mid, just watch how rewind plays him.

I can’t agree with Crystalline being number one because he gets blown up on pressure and sometimes in neutral because he has no fast mids. I would put dragons fire #1 and honestly put crystalline back a few spots

For my 1 & 2 I was absolutely thinking Liu Kang (in mkx he’s like Bruce Lee on crack) on story mode he whooped my ass. I was gonna say #1 was kung Lao!
In tekken we have kazuya that is mid tier but with execution is strong. In mkx we had liu kang who was S tier and with fbrc/iaf a god

@@Displace7269 compare him to fakuhram, Julia, leroy, devil Jin, marduk, zafina. You probably can't block hellsweep and can't do ewgf. Kazuya has trash poking youhave to ewgf, wave dash and have vast punishment knowledge to make him viable/strong. His mids are either -13--18 or -9. Doesn't have easy launcher only ewgf/wgf df12 is not enough. Doesn't have cheese strings (b31,1243, uf4 are only viable in lower ranks or when used for mental frames/occasionally)

@@Displace7269 I played mk11 with 5 chars and reached God ranks with all of them. Now I play tekken for fun with heihachi, kazuya and hwoarang casually in yellow. I know how fighting games work.

This list is good but i think jason is a little overrated I would replace him with kung jin specifically shaolin he has a lot of mixups he has the best jump 1 in the entire game his down 1 is also good he also extremely safe his up kick is safe and can be delayed would also put mileena and put replace raiden with alien other than that its a good list

Jason is a noob character. There's a guy I see all the time who always uses relentless or slasher. Does one combo and if it doesn't hit he goes into a low block and sucks a fat overhead.
We used each other's mains and he got rekt. I used unstoppable though and he used mystic.
I find tremor pretty easy to beat

Because killer has a glaring weakness in getting zoned he didn't make the list, his rushdown is super scary though!
@@shujinkydink i dont think killer has a problem with getting zoned since his chainsaw stance can absorb protectiles and he takes no chip while gaining meter for doing it
Erron black isn’t on the list I play him and whenever I do I pretty much always win when playing with friends I’m banned from playing with him because I’m just too good it’s not like I spam it’s they just can’t keep up

@@0quli362 if you backdash his f1 is going to catch you, no one has a backdash that can beat it. Tremor has every tool in the game, you wanna talk gaps, now that's ethereal oddly enough
@@shujinkydink you can backdash the low crystal or the overhead off F121 and S21D4U4 you can jump those too if he goes for the real option DB2 he is unsafe -7 he has horrible zoning tools unless you’re aftershock but if you have an air projectile you’re getting hit flash parry can be blown up easily by most characters he only has highs and a 14 frame mid what makes mileena busted is her ball roll her fast kunai her ethereal teleport an armored ball roll that’s an overhead that one 6 hitting string that jails her tiny hit box and broken jump in if tremor has everything play against a liu he will zone you out mash you out of everything or armor out of everything if you struggle with tremor it doesn’t mean he’s top tier unbearable skill slimey and Ninja all agree he’s top 15 you just suck
