GTL is a condemnation of the music industry and what they fear fame will do to them as a band. The song in the very beginning playing on the boom box is from another Korn song, GTL doesn't actually start until the car door closes. The set that they first play on in the video is very indicative of other bands at that time that they did not want to be associated with. Everything from the guy dancing to the fur coat, the athletic wear, I would almost say a mockery of the band Sugar Ray...? Then the "band manager" sells them to another owner and Korn walks out because they realize there is no substance to the message, only money. Then JD is dealing with paparazzi, Head and Fieldy could not care less about their car that they give it away, and then Munkey and David destroy their Ferrari. The ending scene is iconic because of all the artists represented there that Korn considered family. Classic backyard bbq with (iirc) Limp Bizkit (Fred Durst and Jonathan Davis are life-long best friends), Jay Gordon from Orgy, Video Drone, Kittie and I believe Eminem is in it too.

A lot of reviewers focus on the meaning being how the music industry is terrible and uses and spits out artists but I tend to see the song meaning that he struggles with the fame and fortune and asks God why wont he help him and God tells him look, I already gave you the life, choose to appreciate it and live it to the best of your abilities and F all the other stuff.

Go a bit left field and listen to the stuff with Skrillex ie dubstep(ish) Or listen to 'make me bad' that's like a gosh darn movie with legit top actors in the video. Just go for it.. clown is another anything from the first 3/4 albums.. And I'm sure everyone has said it....when you're ready.. DADDY.......😬
You gotta check out Invent Animate when you get the chance. They go from radio friend to heavy as balls. A good intro to what they do would be the song Without A Whisper. Trust, its good.
