I got pregnant at 25 and at the time I weighed 98lbs. Had my son at 36 weeks but there were complications. It's no joke. After laboring for hours in severe pain I was finally given an epidural but that didn't stop my placenta from hemorrhaging. The baby had to be pulled immediately and I was split from one end to the other. Doc said I was so damaged that he had no idea how many stitches it took to patch me up. Uterus was in bad shape so I was advised not to try again. While I was passed out from blood loss/shock and my son in NICU with wet lung, my husband at the time left the hospital and drove to our home town to meet up with friends to pass out cigars. They really don't think about the seriousness of situation. All they care about is their legacy. Many men will begin to see you as just a mother and caregiver. You'll never be the young, hot thing again in their minds. I've seen so many men with their wives wheeling around a stroller and STILL looking over their shoulder at the next best thing.
I had a colleague who is 10 years younger than me. She married a 50/50 men and gave birth to his son. While she was on leave, I found a better job and left the company. Note: I am CF by choice. I saw her again in 2023 by accident, she looked 10 years older than me! I saw her before and after birth, and my CF choice may have saved my life! Please stay safe. For men, having children is like getting a puppy or a kitten.
What did we find out? Stop having babies for these men. It should become a precious *rarity*, a jewel and only shared with those who are worthy. Most men are not worthy. It is a gift and a responsibility that must be earned. It is no longer a requirement. Don't listen to them. You are worth every consideration. You are worthy. It is you who have the value. It always was you.

Most men have no business having access to a wife at all. Society is sinning against GOD and both men and women are suffering for it. A father should hold on to his daughter until a suitable suitor presents himself. Should that not happen or each man is not worthy, she should remain chaste and unmarried. I’m childfree and the exact same men who bodyshame/fatshame postpartum women are the ones who accuse me of being too “shallow and vain”, or telling me I only don’t want to experience pregnancy out of an “irrational” fear of “getting fat”, as if weight gain isn’t literally the LEAST awful thing pregnancy can do, and women aren’t dying and becoming permanently disabled from complications from it every day.
I'm also childfree. While I haven't been called vain to my face, it is true that part of why I don't want to have kids is the weight gain associated with pregnancy. Of course, being nearly forty, the complications would be more of a concern at my age. It just feels much safer to have pets.

I was 115lbs when I met my husband. After we married, still weighed 115lbs but when I got pregnant and had our first child I got bigger, biggest was 225lbs after my 2nd child. My husband never treated me differently, always loved me for me and said people change and can't stay looking 21 forever as we get older. Now 44 and 3 kids later, he still loves me and I'm down to 175lbs, I will never be 115lbs again and I've been accepting that.

I rarely see a happy husband after a child enters the family. They often look at young healthy women or are lost in their phones. They appear angry, not at first but soon after.
That is true for most. I chose to have children with men (been married twice) who already had one because I saw how they were as fathers and they were all about family and being a dad.... especially my current husband. He loves being a dad and that's all he's ever wanted to be. He is all about our son and I think that's the main thing I love about him.
This is what i tell women. If a mail is seeking beauty over anything else, then once that woman's beauty begins to fade, he will begin to fade also. I have seen this played out multiple times.
Funny part about that is, a lot of women look better after having children and as we get older. I looked better in my 30s than in my teens and 20s. Meanwhile most of the men around my age have aged like sour milk lol.

During pregnancy, I gained only 8 pounds. Afterward, I had postpartum depression, gained 30 lbs. I never lost it all, and it happened with subsequent pregnancy, too. It also happened after miscarriages. That man was so judgemental about my body. Now he is not my problem, and I have glorious daughters.
I gave birth and TFMR. It was harder for me to lose the belly after the termination at 18 weeks than it was to lose the weight after giving birth at 38 weeks. Luckily I have wonderfully supportive in-laws and a wonderfully supportive husband
I only gained 20lbs during pregnancy and lost the weight breast feeding, but my shape never was the same. I had to create and build my shape I was small wit no curves when I'm use to having the hour glass figure. I never fully got my shape back.

Being a baby and child is also dangerous. The black baby has the highest chance of being violently assaulted in the mother, the highest chance of sub par prenatal care, the highest chance of dying suddenly for no apparent reason, the highest chance of not having all things necessary like a mix assortment of bottles, emergency formula, emergency stash of diapers, a full size stroller, medium and small stroller, a carrier so mom can keep it close especially if not feeling well, a second parent to check on it, appropriate sleep arrangement, a baby monitor, a safe smoke and drug free environment, inclined to pests etc. The black babies reality can suck from day 1 and society thinks that's normal and it's not. The black baby is also the fastest to leave its mother, the shortest to breastfeed. Black babies are kind of treated like puppies but puppies are nursed for at least 6 weeks minimum while most black babies are not nursed at all. 100

My son's father treated me terribly after I had our son because at that point I didn't care how I looked. It was all about my baby health, happiness & well being. My advice... if you decide you want children do it because that's what YOU want, married or not. Make sure your finances are right, money&stability makes a huge difference in raising children. It's incredibly easy for men to tell women what they should look like when there is no chance of their bodies changing at all from pregnancy. That crap pisses me ALL THE WAY OFF. Research for the healthcare of pregnant women is STILL limited too. Why this research wouldn't be a priority is beyond me.

Her partner in that relationship should have been sitting on the floor so she she doesn't feel alone, not looking down on her and speaking to her like she's his inferior. After that make sure she gets some sleep and ringing around for her for as much medical advice possible, repeating back all the reassurance she needs. Don't even get me started on him saying "what about me" he should cook his own meal as well as hers. By the end she's crying over being a woman and having postpartum depression, but her true woe is lacking a partner that loves and cares for her, instead she's stuck with parasitic gonads filming her, hope she saw the backlash he received.

My last pregnancy i was as bedridden the entire time i was severely ill throwing up multiple times a day , severely anemic, swollen etc had to have baby early due to toll it was taking on my body Lost so much blood during the birth while being severely anemic i almost died , now have a host of medical issues postpartum including autoimmune diseases , before this i was perfectly healthy and active going to the gym and eating healthy,my first pregnancy had zero issues or complications so i never thought I'd have problems a second time, women really go through so much to bring life into this world and it's taken for granted you need a solid partner that is going to be there for you because it's literally life and death also i couldn't work throughout the pregnancy or after due to severe health issues so you need someone that's going to be able to help you including caregiving like a nurse you never know what can happen to you

I was chunky, dirty hair, smelly and perpetually hung over in my 20s. Had ugly badly bleach blonde hair. Now in my 40s, I take care of myself and don’t suffer fools. I look better now.

Infection. She gave birth in the hospital. They introduced the infection (constant vaginal checks etc), didn't catch it in time, then cut off both legs and arms. What a brutal process. You know they still sent her a bill right?
My sister busted blood vessels in both eyes and experienced hallucinations brought on by a pain medication. She also had c section. I did not experience broken blood vessels but both eyes where bloodshot, nausea, could not use the restroom, I also experienced tactile hallucinations on a certain pain medication and they had to give me a different pain medication and the tactile hallucinations went away...I had trouble breathing in both births and had two good c sections. I never confided this to anyone, not even my doctor but my chest hurt when I was open in both births. I knew I was going to make it but if GOD was not with me I'm certain I would have had a sudden heart attack. My doctors are not even aware of this, I said nothing. I absolutely knew that GOD was going to preserve my heart. But that He HAD TO because for some reason my heart does not tolerate surgery well...something that's not even in my records because u stayed quiet. I also did that single by myself. I was NOT traumatized...I know that's hard to believe, I healed extremely well, lost weight quickly and nursed my baby immediately. I was out and about and on my feet right after discharge. But as forgiving as I am...clearly this is not something that should go unappreciated and GOD did not intend for it to be done solo. My literal heart was being held in GODs hands and it causes me to he doubly bonded to my sons. They TRULY appreciate me and I in turn truly appreciate them. Ladies do not be afraid of having boys especially. If you are good to them they return the love 10 fold. My sons think I'm a queen. But beware of some of these devils some of yall are with as I've seen some men turn the woman's sons against her which is so evil. So be prayerful who you marry because some men are that wicked. It's hard to do, but it can be done, especially if the idiot monster is abusive.

There is a much higher likelihood of infection, healing can take anywhere from 8 weeks to 6 months, the post partum period lasts significantly longer, more likely to develop PPD, you're more likely to bleed out during the surgery, some doctors refuse to listen to their patients and can end up slicing away without realising the mother can feel everything, subsequent pregnancies are high risk right off the bat because old suture lines can rip open, orgasm is affected and oftentimes painful, you're more likely to need a hysterectomy, people with endometriosis end up developing adenomyosis and lesions burrow into the suture lines of the fascia and uterus, making periods way way waaaayyy more painful (in my birth giver's case, her monthlys ended up becoming increasingly more painful, worse than active labour contractions and heavier than ever, she was soaking through a pad in an hour), you cannot lift anything heavier than your baby or your arms above your head during the recovery period. Your body is made to deliver through the canal. Always, always, _always_ have natural in your birth plan unless you had to have an emergency c-section in a prior pregnancy or need one if baby is becoming distressed. It is your last resort.

I learned a long time ago to stop trying to look good for other people. I only exercise and eat right for my health and not to look a certain way. I don't wear makeup and when I do all I wear is blush, eyeliner and eyeshadow, even on my wedding day. I wanted to be with someone who loved me for my personality and I didn't want a high-maintenance routine that I couldn't sustain. I don't wear a bra and I don't try to look sexy. Now I don't have to worry about maintaining an unrealistic body because I don't in the first place.
Not only that you are saving money. Women will spend $350k over there lifetime on make-up in the USA. That does not include the fancy clothes, shoes, nails, hair. Crap you could easily spend a million dollars on just you looks. Most people really do not care that much anyway. Most peple are not like you are my favorite friend because I love you fancy clothes. Thats what I said when my husband who asked me to have a baby and said he was sure he was still happy 2 years into marriage and told me hed never cheat and leave like his own father had started cheating on my when I was 6 months pregnant but I didnt find out until a few weeks after having our son. I had worked my job up till due date so he was messing around when I was at work. I got an IUD that lasts 10 to 12 years and said never again.
My only child is 19. I felt that NEVER AGAIN. Men I dated talked about me having their child because somehow I made it look easy with one? Apparently, I wasn’t struggling enough for their liking and they wanted to anchor to my prosperity. These dudes are weird. I opted out of all of it about five years ago.
I've gained like 80 pounds after 3 kids 😅. The first two I lost it right away. After the third...man I'm just effing tired 😄 Not to mention the saggy boobs 😩 I work at 3 a.m., homeschool my kids, and just try to stay conscious. Every once in a while I'll cry over my weight and my husband looks at me like I'm crazy. "What fat?" He'd rather I eat a snickers than have an attitude from dieting too hard. All motivation to lose and tone up has to come strictly from me bc there's no negative motivation here 😂 All the guys I dated before him were just effing awful though. They'd notice even 5 pounds. One was broke and I was buying all of our takeout with my own money and he STILL had the audacity to call me out. Funny you can be pressed about 10 pounds but not your lack of finances.
I had pre-eclampsia and was hospitalised for the rest of the pregnancy, had 12 weeks to go but ended up being 6 weeks. I asked my partner to bring me my special pillow from home (we had lived together 9 years) he brought a random pillow from his mum’s house and when I asked why he cursed me out and said I was ungrateful. I started to cry and he screamed at me ‘do you want me to go and f..k your friends?’I cried the whole night in the hospital and my water broke early hours of the morning and I had to have an emergency caesarian section. I called him, his phone was switched off so had to call my younger brother to go get him. Thankfully I was discharged the following day and again my brother came to take me and my baby home. Looking back I’m ashamed of what I accepted from him

I gave birth to 3 babies before the age of 25 and people cant even believe I have kids and often think my 15 year old is my sister. You should also take care of yourself but most man are horrible and dont give their wife the time to heal, work out and have time for herself. Want your woman to glow make sure she is taken care off.

My ex bd while in labour struggling to give birth the dr said I would need a caesarean he turned around and said I don’t want her to have a cesarean because of the scaring on her body I replied how am I suppose to get my child out. That man a week later told me to get up and I’m being lazy I had a midwife visit who seen I was hemorrhaging she said what was you doing I said cleaning up she marched in the living room and told my daughter father off. I never mentioned how he insulted me. I’ve had a shit time with men. I gave up a long time ago. I got cancer and my fiancée would call me lazy and saying I do nothing I was sick with cancer side affects after those two men I will never ever bother again. Men are evil

It is stated that 80 percent of all of the mortality rates are preventable. We as a society must do better for women.
Yes Pregnancy can be very hard. I only had one, my Pregnancy wasn't too hard, I was young and strong, apart from terribe morning sickness in the first months. Apart from that I got very tired but I managed to work until 6 weeks before the birth. But the birth was something else. I'm only a short Woman and I had a big Baby for me. It was a natural Birth with Forceps, he got got stuck, then I hemorraged for a week and had to have an emergency D&C and a Blood transfusion. I was in Hospital for 19 days. I decided no more, I'm not doing that again. It took me months to get over it, physically I did, but mentally I never did. I got Post partum depression and anxiety. I had to have treatment, I became Agoraphobic, couldn't leave the House. But Men can never understand how traumatic it can be, they think we all just open our Legs and they come out. And my Husband now ex Husband wasn't much help, his Mother, a good Catholic, had 7 Children easily, so he thought I'd be the same. Well I wasn't.

My husband and I have been together for 30 years and have 2 kids. We've been through it. My body has changed A LOT. He still tells me I'm beautiful, thanks me for taking care of our family (both of our adult kids are autistic) and tells me he loves me multiple times a day. When I was in labor the first time and had an epidural, he almost passed out. He was standing behind me and said it looked like they were putting that huge needle directly into my spine. 😂)
The crazy thing is there's this guy who is 35 like me and he looks way older than I do. I literally had to say what my birth year was because he thought i was in my 20s. To top it all off I'm older than him by several months 😅. Receding hairline and beer belly. He also has diabetes and we met in a diabetes class. I have type 2 diabetes that I am working on getting rid of. I heard type one cannot be cured which is the one he has. There was several people in the class that had reversed their type 2 diabetes so I'm learning how to do it. I developed diabetes during my pregnancy.
Wrong! It's not that man's child. Women annoy me when they say that. Two, you can never make sure a man will be by your side. Make sure YOU want that baby. Stop having babies because he want or just because you're in love. Make sure you truly desire motherhood and dont mind doing it solo. You never know.

He should be courteous, respectful, mature, unselfish, and gentle with you. Date him in public places for the first year. Go on dates with him with another couple, if you can. Save yourself for marriage, ladies, and if he proposes, insist that the two of you attend pre-marital classes together. There, you can each state what you want, expect, and insist on from one another. Marry only spiritual men, who will attend church with you. If he has drug, alcohol, porn, gambling, or other problems, do NOT marry him, until he grows up more.
I was done having kids after three but ended up having a fourth with a new man. He was half assed complaining throughout that i was pregnant past due when i always carry over. He slept through my labouring until i woke him up and when i spoke to him said i should of woke him and told him what i wanted if i needed something 🤯 he left when baby was 5 days old to go see his daughter in another part of the country 3 hours away. He left me with my 3 kids and a newborn for at least a week maybe two i can't remember now. I prolapsed in that period he was away,i cant forgive him I'm so hurt by his behaviour around that time. I didn't want another baby,i know i should of taken extra measures to not get pregnant but i was so in the whirlwind of going with the flow. I was brainwashed by new age and completely infatuated with him. How do you watch someone push your baby out and then leave her to care for baby and other kids. He didnt work at the time, he had no excuse. Im heartbroken i allowed myself to be treated that way but never ever again Ow and i forgot to say i free birthed baby so it was just me and my ex at the birth in my bedroom. Absolutely mental 😢

Just show EVERYONE the reality of birth. Then probably give everyone the crying baby they have to care for during the next month. And make sure they never get 3 consecutive hours of sleep. Pregnancy is absolutely a biological war between the mother and the fetus. Yes, our bodies are designed to create and carry a new lifeform, and the majority of pregnancies are successful, but that does not mean it's not a warzone down in that womb. The fetus and the mother have different genetic interests, so the fetus takes and takes and takes resources from the mother, while her body tries to prevent having too much taken, lest she doesn't survive. There's a really good article about this that I read on Aeon titled: 'Why pregnancy is a biological war between mother and baby.' I definitely recommend reading through the entire thing, even if not in a single sitting. Join in the knowledge that us women who have been pregnant before, even if for a short time, are now genetic chimeras, having permanent fetal DNA floating through our bodies. I think that's cool, and creepy at the same time.
Truth the fetus behaves as parasite and after the heart formed 8-11 weeks the hormones are changing in the mother's body and most of the cases positively because the mothers easier accept the challenges emotionally. They get into "mama mode". These hormones lasts until the mother stops breastfeeding. Those mothers who cannot breastfeed usually falling out faster from this hormonal state.

I got pregnant at 25 and at the time I weighed 98lbs. Had my son at 36 weeks but there were complications. It's no joke. After laboring for hours in severe pain I was finally given an epidural but that didn't stop my placenta from hemorrhaging. The baby had to be pulled immediately and I was split from one end to the other. Doc said I was so damaged that he had no idea how many stitches it took to patch me up. Uterus was in bad shape so I was advised not to try again. While I was passed out from blood loss/shock and my son in NICU with wet lung, my husband at the time left the hospital and drove to our home town to meet up with friends to pass out cigars. They really don't think about the seriousness of situation. All they care about is their legacy. Many men will begin to see you as just a mother and caregiver. You'll never be the young, hot thing again in their minds. I've seen so many men with their wives wheeling around a stroller and STILL looking over their shoulder at the next best thing.

I had a colleague who is 10 years younger than me. She married a 50/50 men and gave birth to his son. While she was on leave, I found a better job and left the company. Note: I am CF by choice. I saw her again in 2023 by accident, she looked 10 years older than me! I saw her before and after birth, and my CF choice may have saved my life! Please stay safe. For men, having children is like getting a puppy or a kitten.

I was 115lbs when I met my husband. After we married, still weighed 115lbs but when I got pregnant and had our first child I got bigger, biggest was 225lbs after my 2nd child. My husband never treated me differently, always loved me for me and said people change and can't stay looking 21 forever as we get older. Now 44 and 3 kids later, he still loves me and I'm down to 175lbs, I will never be 115lbs again and I've been accepting that.

During pregnancy, I gained only 8 pounds. Afterward, I had postpartum depression, gained 30 lbs. I never lost it all, and it happened with subsequent pregnancy, too. It also happened after miscarriages. That man was so judgemental about my body. Now he is not my problem, and I have glorious daughters.

I gave birth and TFMR. It was harder for me to lose the belly after the termination at 18 weeks than it was to lose the weight after giving birth at 38 weeks. Luckily I have wonderfully supportive in-laws and a wonderfully supportive husband
I only gained 20lbs during pregnancy and lost the weight breast feeding, but my shape never was the same. I had to create and build my shape I was small wit no curves when I'm use to having the hour glass figure. I never fully got my shape back.

I know women who have nearly or actually died from pregnancy. Pregnancy is dangerous, moreso for women of colour, poorer women and women in developing countries. Too many men disappear after impregnating women.
Being a baby and child is also dangerous. The black baby has the highest chance of being violently assaulted in the mother, the highest chance of sub par prenatal care, the highest chance of dying suddenly for no apparent reason, the highest chance of not having all things necessary like a mix assortment of bottles, emergency formula, emergency stash of diapers, a full size stroller, medium and small stroller, a carrier so mom can keep it close especially if not feeling well, a second parent to check on it, appropriate sleep arrangement, a baby monitor, a safe smoke and drug free environment, inclined to pests etc. The black babies reality can suck from day 1 and society thinks that's normal and it's not.
The black baby is also the fastest to leave its mother, the shortest to breastfeed. Black babies are kind of treated like puppies but puppies are nursed for at least 6 weeks minimum while most black babies are not nursed at all. 100

My last pregnancy i was as bedridden the entire time i was severely ill throwing up multiple times a day , severely anemic, swollen etc had to have baby early due to toll it was taking on my body
Lost so much blood during the birth while being severely anemic i almost died , now have a host of medical issues postpartum including autoimmune diseases , before this i was perfectly healthy and active going to the gym and eating healthy,my first pregnancy had zero issues or complications so i never thought I'd have problems a second time, women really go through so much to bring life into this world and it's taken for granted you need a solid partner that is going to be there for you because it's literally life and death also i couldn't work throughout the pregnancy or after due to severe health issues so you need someone that's going to be able to help you including caregiving like a nurse you never know what can happen to you

My sister busted blood vessels in both eyes and experienced hallucinations brought on by a pain medication. She also had c section.
I did not experience broken blood vessels but both eyes where bloodshot, nausea, could not use the restroom, I also experienced tactile hallucinations on a certain pain medication and they had to give me a different pain medication and the tactile hallucinations went away...I had trouble breathing in both births and had two good c sections.
I never confided this to anyone, not even my doctor but my chest hurt when I was open in both births. I knew I was going to make it but if GOD was not with me I'm certain I would have had a sudden heart attack. My doctors are not even aware of this, I said nothing. I absolutely knew that GOD was going to preserve my heart. But that He HAD TO because for some reason my heart does not tolerate surgery well...something that's not even in my records because u stayed quiet.
I also did that single by myself. I was NOT traumatized...I know that's hard to believe, I healed extremely well, lost weight quickly and nursed my baby immediately. I was out and about and on my feet right after discharge. But as forgiving as I am...clearly this is not something that should go unappreciated and GOD did not intend for it to be done solo. My literal heart was being held in GODs hands and it causes me to he doubly bonded to my sons. They TRULY appreciate me and I in turn truly appreciate them.
Ladies do not be afraid of having boys especially. If you are good to them they return the love 10 fold. My sons think I'm a queen. But beware of some of these devils some of yall are with as I've seen some men turn the woman's sons against her which is so evil. So be prayerful who you marry because some men are that wicked. It's hard to do, but it can be done, especially if the idiot monster is abusive.

Your body is made to deliver through the canal. Always, always, _always_ have natural in your birth plan unless you had to have an emergency c-section in a prior pregnancy or need one if baby is becoming distressed. It is your last resort.

I learned a long time ago to stop trying to look good for other people. I only exercise and eat right for my health and not to look a certain way. I don't wear makeup and when I do all I wear is blush, eyeliner and eyeshadow, even on my wedding day. I wanted to be with someone who loved me for my personality and I didn't want a high-maintenance routine that I couldn't sustain. I don't wear a bra and I don't try to look sexy. Now I don't have to worry about maintaining an unrealistic body because I don't in the first place.
Not only that you are saving money. Women will spend $350k over there lifetime on make-up in the USA. That does not include the fancy clothes, shoes, nails, hair. I've gained like 80 pounds after 3 kids 😅. The first two I lost it right away. After the third...man I'm just effing tired 😄 Not to mention the saggy boobs 😩 I work at 3 a.m., homeschool my kids, and just try to stay conscious. Every once in a while I'll cry over my weight and my husband looks at me like I'm crazy. "What fat?" He'd rather I eat a snickers than have an attitude from dieting too hard. All motivation to lose and tone up has to come strictly from me bc there's no negative motivation here 😂 All the guys I dated before him were just effing awful though. They'd notice even 5 pounds. I asked my partner to bring me my special pillow from home (we had lived together 9 years) he brought a random pillow from his mum’s house and when I asked why he cursed me out and said I was ungrateful. I started to cry and he screamed at me ‘do you want me to go and f..k your friends?’I cried the whole night in the hospital and my water broke early hours of the morning and I had to have an emergency caesarian section. I called him, his phone was switched off so had to call my younger brother to go get him. Thankfully I was discharged the following day and again my brother came to take me and my baby home. Looking back I’m ashamed of what I accepted from him

Yes Pregnancy can be very hard. I only had one, my Pregnancy wasn't too hard, I was young and strong, apart from terribe morning sickness in the first months. Apart from that I got very tired but I managed to work until 6 weeks before the birth. But the birth was something else. I'm only a short Woman and I had a big Baby for me. It was a natural Birth with Forceps, he got got stuck, then I hemorraged for a week and had to have an emergency D&C and a Blood transfusion. I was in Hospital for 19 days. I decided no more, I'm not doing that again. It took me months to get over it, physically I did, but mentally I never did. I got Post partum depression and anxiety. I had to have treatment, I became Agoraphobic, couldn't leave the House. But Men can never understand how traumatic it can be, they think we all just open our Legs and they come out. And my Husband now ex Husband wasn't much help, his Mother, a good Catholic, had 7 Children easily, so he thought I'd be the same. Well I wasn't.
If i have a baby i demand a baby nurse the spoiled mama care line any cosmetic surgury to repair my body i am vain and proud of it

The crazy thing is there's this guy who is 35 like me and he looks way older than I do. I literally had to say what my birth year was because he thought i was in my 20s. To top it all off I'm older than him by several months 😅. Receding hairline and beer belly. He also has diabetes and we met in a diabetes class. I have type 2 diabetes that I am working on getting rid of. I heard type one cannot be cured which is the one he has. There was several people in the class that had reversed their type 2 diabetes so I'm learning how to do it. I developed diabetes during my pregnancy.

I was done having kids after three but ended up having a fourth with a new man. He was half assed complaining throughout that i was pregnant past due when i always carry over. He slept through my labouring until i woke him up and when i spoke to him said i should of woke him and told him what i wanted if i needed something 🤯 he left when baby was 5 days old to go see his daughter in another part of the country 3 hours away. He left me with my 3 kids and a newborn for at least a week maybe two i can't remember now. I prolapsed in that period he was away,i cant forgive him I'm so hurt by his behaviour around that time. I didn't want another baby,i know i should of taken extra measures to not get pregnant but i was so in the whirlwind of going with the flow. I was brainwashed by new age and completely infatuated with him. How do you watch someone push your baby out and then leave her to care for baby and other kids. He didnt work at the time, he had no excuse. Im heartbroken i allowed myself to be treated that way but never ever again

Pregnancy is absolutely a biological war between the mother and the fetus. Yes, our bodies are designed to create and carry a new lifeform, and the majority of pregnancies are successful, but that does not mean it's not a warzone down in that womb. The fetus and the mother have different genetic interests, so the fetus takes and takes and takes resources from the mother, while her body tries to prevent having too much taken, lest she doesn't survive.
