    I just saw you at the Pilot in Jacksonville. I was the tanker driver unloading fuel. No wonder you look familiar.

    Sergei, in Florida, the law requires anyone over the age of 65 to leave their left turn signal on for the rest of their lives.

    • @chucktx5957
      @chucktx5957 7 лет назад +3

      Dealers actually have to wire them on in used Cadillacs. :-)

    • @beauxtoxic1451
      @beauxtoxic1451 7 лет назад +5

      Chuck Tx Also a law that anyone over 65 has to wear white knee socks with at least three stripes

    • @frankswain9483
      @frankswain9483 7 лет назад

      After age 65 you must also drive looking under the steering wheel. This is no problem since you can barely see over the dash. :~)

    • @ScottCalkins
      @ScottCalkins 7 лет назад +1

      We have the same law in Arizona. Plus seatbelt and or part of clothing must be hanging out of door between the hours of 6am and 6pm.

      Also: In FL: All purchases include a coupon of some kind - even houses and cars. And, everyone can recommend an excellent cardiologist, dermatologist, proctologist, podiatrist, or orthopedist.

    I assembled those cabs from 2008 through 2010 in Joliet, IL. Depending on demand about 15 to 20 carbs per week

    For your new truck It would be cool if you got a wrap like that truck beside you.
    A snow camo would look cool.

    Another Stellar video. I would feel really strange sticking out like that from my parking space. Ya gotta know the thoughts of the trucker's passing by, cursing you for getting in their way. Talking about stressful.

    The dump body lever needs to be in hold to start the engine but will limit the transmission to 1st F or 1st R until it is put into float,(the squiggly line marking). In float the transmission will shift through all gears.

    Hey! Ease up on us old retirees! We have to turn on signals when we remember to do it, not when it's actually necessary. How 'bout a break? Of course, then we forget we were supposed to turn. You'll be there some day, so be gentle with us. :-))).

    I have read the International was and is now more of a fleet truck--and some say FL is becoming that way too. I pray all class 8 rigs are made to highest standards--for the price buyers deserve that more and more. I have read the movement of production to outside USA is temporary condition--makers will return when sales pick up--so they have said.

    as you cant lock the articulation DOT will regard the machine as two different machines. so 6 chains will not be enough as i understands it. watched another video of a trucker that got some mouth about that.

    • @HHTV60
      @HHTV60  7 лет назад +5

      Stian the 2 chains I have in the middle prevent it from articulating. don't be a buzz kill...

      flat bed chick had been stopped with a whelloader and not locked the pin. had to regard each moving part as two different vehicles then. but the next dot officer mite not say anything. but a load securment fail aint that good to have on your reccord over there hehe.

      As the pipeline go in there will be a demand for excavators, 336F and dozers with winches, mainly D8R. The Keystone pipeline is approved so there will be a lot of equipment moving to OH, WV, PA and NJ.

    jeahhh more metric
    i am from holland and 45 metric tonnes is 100% legal no permits !!
    50 metric tonnes is legal , germany is 40 metric tonnes (and the most of the rest of europe)

    • @HHTV60
      @HHTV60  7 лет назад +2

      Anything heavier than 36.3 METRIC TONS (80,000 LB) gross needs a permit in most US States, as you're oversize/overweight. So, we can be low on the weight allowance, but then our highway speeds are much higher, especially in the west ... trucks can do up to 75 MPH or 120 KM/H legally. Try to do THAT around Berlin!

    Hello Sergei - in US i think max combined weight without permits is 80K. How high can you go without escorts if load is not wider that normal-? do you know if you have your own authority who pays the escorts? Thank you for the great videos and willingness to teach as you go:)
