I purchased Zara’s Red Temptation a few months ago. I love the scent, It was very similar to Bacarrat 540. I recently ordered another bottle of the red temptation and when I spray it on initially it has a strong of smell alcoholic , it doesn’t even smell like the bottle that I already have of the red temptation so it appears that they may have changed some things around. They have also gone up in price around six dollars.
I love red temptation! I have less than half a bottle left so I had to order a new one a few days ago. I own 540 and agree that red temptation is a great dupe. I got both fragrances around the same time last year and didn't really get the hype at first but I do now🥰 I don't ever want to be without either one.
I'm able to catch you earlier today! I'm cleaning my closet and I found a plastic storage bin on the shelf with original bottles of CK Euphoria, Escape, Contradiction and Eternity. Still in the wrapped boxes! I also found Amarige, Mackie, RL Pure Turquoise, Opium and Paloma Picasso, and Tommy Girl! They all smell good accept the Paloma and Opium. I am so happy I can enjoy them again. Loved the information today! My SOTD is a squirt of each CK on different places! Enjoy your day!
I love Dossier's Ambery Saffron! It smells just like Baccarat. I have both Baccarat 540 and the Extrait version but I love wearing the Ambery Saffron by Dossier to work and to run errands. I get tons of compliments everytime I wear it!
Red Temptation is good. I use it for running errands but I also layer it with the 540 body cream and sometimes the oil as well. I’m slowly exploring Zara because of Coco Pebz . I must admit , they do have some nice fragrances that are very affordable.

I used to think this was the best dupe of baccarat except red temptation is not as sweet as baccarat. You can really smell the alcohol but it does calm down. I prefer the new red temptation winter. Its sweeter and way more complex, im obsessed!
I wore Red temptation and baccarat Rouge 540 oil together and I was complimented by a lady at a perfume store and she asked if i was wearing Burberry Her. I think Red temptation gets sweeter after while. Also she complimented me after 3-4 hrs of wearing.

Do you own Amber Oud Ruby, or the Rouge Edition, if i can ask you that? And is it really a close dupe to the Extrait de Parfum? I bought Instant Crush, Red Temptation, Ambery Safron and Calline's dupe, but they are all a dupe to my (obviously much loved;) Baccarat Rouge 540 EdP, but a real dupe to the Extrait would be the best (My OG 200ml flanker is almost empty, so I'm in neeeeeed;), and I would appreciate your opinion a lot:)
Hi Cheraye! U really got me all excited to try this Red Temptation! I hope it’s a bit milder & more feminine than the original MFK BR 540. I have it but it’s a little too unisex scented for me. I just love soft feminine fragrances, w/ notes of, woodsy, floral, vanilla, musk, amber, a little spice, etc..
Where Baccarat Rouge 540 EdP, is perfectly unisex and leans in comparison, a tiny bit more on the masculine side, but if you adore the Baccarat (especially the EdP) vibe, you will like that one to, but if you didn't like this very slight, smooth woodsy (some calls it medicinal;) smell, than you will not like this one....;)

Not me running and purchasing this! I tried the ALT crystal and I was soooo incredibly sad that I could not wear it as it gave me a perfume induced headache, I believe from the ambroxan. I’m hoping this will be a good alternative! If i don’t get any headaches from this one, I’ll do definitely look into getting BR 540. Thanks for the recommendation!

I can’t believe all this good reviews about red temptation, I just bought it, unless it is defective mine doesn’t smell like anything. I tried in the pulse area, in clothes, sprayed a lot, asked everyone if they can smell anything and nope! :(

My scent of the day is Ragba by Latafa a good musky vanilla scent and it last all day. I still smell it on me 9 hours later. I have Oakcha Sweven and it’s a good dupe as well.

Bestie I have heard about red temptations! Because a young lady I know she said just like the lady in the store. She has the real 540 but she use the Zara on days she isn’t doing much. And the way she said that she gets longer staying power is to layer it with your 540 lotion. I am going to get some of that. I have to order it because my city doesn’t have a Zara. I’m new to fragrances and would love a video on “similar scents”. I recently smelled Elizabeth and James Nirvana White. I liked it but there was something missing for me. I want something similar but am having trouble nailing down which notes are appealing to me from her. So just a list of nice fragrances that smell similar would be cool. Or maybe tips on finding similar fragrances. Same thing with Versace Crystal Noir (though I did buy that one) I liked it and am looking to explore others that give a similar vibe or scent profile.

SOD: Black Phantom from Kilian. I think sol de Janeiro “beija flor” is close to 540. I use the lotion and body spray before my mfk 540 extrait. The sol is a little fruitier, and definitely not that “luxe” smell that 540 has. But it is for sure a little sister vibe to b540!

Bestie I have heard about red temptations! Because a young lady I know she said just like the lady in the store. She has the real 540 but she use the Zara on days she isn’t doing much. And the way she said that she gets longer staying power is to layer it with your 540 lotion. I am going to get some of that. I have to order it because my city doesn’t have a Zara. I just ordered red temptation today and I’m so curious how close they are
I’m new to fragrances and would love a video on “similar scents”. I recently smelled Elizabeth and James Nirvana White. I liked it but there was something missing for me. I want something similar but am having trouble nailing down which notes are appealing to me from her. So just a list of nice fragrances that smell similar would be cool. Or maybe tips on finding similar fragrances. Same thing with Versace Crystal Noir (though I did buy that one) I liked it and am looking to explore others that give a similar vibe or scent profile.

I purchased PERPETUAL OUD, when I came back to the states and start wearing I fell in love with it and order a couple of bottles online and also pick up RED TEMPTATION as a blind purchase. SOD: Black Phantom from Kilian.
I think sol de Janeiro “beija flor” is close to 540. I use the lotion and body spray before my mfk 540 extrait. The sol is a little fruitier, and definitely not that “luxe” smell that 540 has. But it is for sure a little sister vibe to b540!
