This is going to be the hardest game we have faced all this season. Oklahoma is 40 times better than any team we have faced thus season. OU's defense is elite, and their QB can make you pay with his arm and legs. Smdh.

Brent is an excellent defensive coach and has won several National Championships as such. You can tell he knows whats coming and will have his guys ready to compete. He hasnt seen anything similar to this since maybe when he was at Clemson in 2019 against LSU. Obviously, that was an end of the year game, with end of year polish on the teams, this is game 4 with game 4 polish. But very similar in match-up discrepancies he faced then. I love Brent as a coach, but Heuple is very good as well. I can see this being a great game for a half, but then Tennessee putting on more steam and pulling away in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
Survive the early storm of nerves and atmosphere and go play for the power T. I want to see the Vols get in some tough situations so we can see what they’re made of. It is what it is. Headset communication will be critical.

As an OU fan of 24 years Oklahoma has not shown me anything that tells me this year will be any different than the season after Lincoln Riley left. The offensive line gets pushed around by group of five teams and a bottom half big 12 team. They will not protect Jackson Arnold well and they have shown they cannot run block and create lanes. From three games I have only seen 2 good balanced drives. Oklahoma has shown they cannot convert on 3rd down and struggles in the redzone. Jackson Arnold truly looks like a first year QB and it is obvious that last year he did not have the mindset to learn and get ready to take over the program. Arnold has consistently missed open receivers, and you can see the mistrust between him and the receivers out on the field. The receivers are not on the same page as Jackson Arnold and are playing very timid. Gavin Sawchuk is a shell of what he was last year, and Tatum is a good elusive runner, but he is a liability in the pass blocking game. The defense has shown flashes of a top 5 defense but overall cannot get to the quarterback and struggle defending anything to the outside. I think as OU fans all we can hope for is that we get 3 more wins this season. It will be a long time before OU is even in the top half of the SEC. After this year we are going to lose a lot of good, impactful players to the NFL.
To the Vols fans, you need to understand completely and unequivocally Josh Huepel is OUrs, he’s just temporarily loaned out to Tennessee.
