I hope you guys read these comments as an Australian hay farmer. All I have to say is stock up, but protect your hay from vermin and storms. Keep it covered and build a shed if you can prices will sky-rocket from the drought and floods in other areas it'll push the supply and demand through the roof. Good luck.
NE Connecticut has been consecutively in the high 80's mid 90's for 2 weeks and the next ten days the same. We may have rain tomorrow Saturday. Wishing g you the best of luck ⛈️☔️
We will take your drought about 1 and half weeks ago from all the rain we had we were flooded majorly badly . North Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska . Water in spots got up to 42 feet deep and that wasn't a lake or river.
Mid to low 90's here in north San Diego county and our rain ended a month ago for most of the year. Dead pasture is mowed to the ground for fire season.
Its very very hot and humid in Pa. When it calls for rain its thunderstorms , bad thunderstorms. We need steady soaking rains too or our grass will look like yours very soon😢
It has been a relatively cool summer here in mn except we are gonna have a short heat wave starting Fri and lasting until mon and we did have some flooding earlier this month in some places in mn luckily it wasn’t as bad as it was in Texas

You should plant more than one type of grass. A warm season and a cold season to ensure and extend longer grazing of your livestock.

So we're farmers and we had such a wet spring/summer that we couldn't get our crops in til middle of June . Alot of prevent of planting which sucks
