We were lucky enough to stay in a cheeky corner suite her in Oz for 5 nights. We chose a bigger so the middle of the range and omg best ever. We were on floor 11 and it was perfect. My husband absolutely loved the balcony as well. We even slept on it one night to really listen to the waves. Have been so spoilt . The room was amazing and loved the bathroom and the amazing shower too. Totally recommend the cheeky corner suite too ❤️❤️
I would still prefer the Seriously Suite. My thoughts on the hammock in the small part of the cheeky corner is that they were giving you a snug hideaway, like a hidden oasis. 😊 Your husband looked like he was posing for a photo shoot near the end around 5:22.
My wife and I are frequent cruisers and normally prefer a quiet, dark inner cabin for catching up on our sleep during our vacations. However, there are situations where we consider suites such as these. For us, we would only book it during weeks where we expect moderate, comfortable weather that would allow us to spend more time on the balcony. Many weeks are either too hot or too cold. Or, if the itinerary focuses on very scenic areas, these suites might be a good fit. We also love weeks with a full moon, which would also make these suites worthwhile. The two types of suites don't seem significantly different; so, other factors would probably drive our decision. Thanks for the great video and insight.
I'm currently booked in a Cheeky Corner Suite and debating if a Sweet Afternoon would be better. I'm going by myself and it's on the Resilient Lady in Europe
They are both great choices. Sweet aft faces directly behind the ship at the wake. Cheeky has the cool wrap around terrace. It’s also at the back. My husband really prefers the sweet aft. He likes the hammock placement much better. I hope you have a wonderful cruise!

Those balconies are wonderful but my goodness they're boring. All gray? Why isn't there some color? The balconies looked big enough to hold 2 hammocks, that would be nice. A rug of some type on the floor would also be nice but I can understand how it could cause problems. They could paint a rug on the floor and paint decorations on the walls so it doesn't look so much like a gun ship. I agree with your husband I'd spend a lot of time on that balcony but I'm not sure about the hammock? I'd like to see a video of him getting into and out of the hammock. Does it sway much? That would be lovely to just hang there and gently sway. Could you hear the sound of the wake? I think that would also be very relaxing. I've never been on a cruise ship but I've been on large ships on Lake Michigan and I like it when the water is rough and the ship sways.

The hammock sways a little. It’s very relaxing. We could hear the wake from the outside. It was nice. 😁
The last cruise we took, we had an aft cabin and I could really feel the motion. Did you experience this?
Hi! No we didn’t feel much motion. We were on a high deck by the way. Seas were pretty calm though so that could be a factor. Thank you for watching!

For the cheeky corner suite, if it's on deck 8, will that be too loud even with the door terrace door closed?
Hi! The dock isn’t very noisy. And it pretty much clears out at dark. But you may hear some music during the day. It’s not bad at all.
