You guys are great! I'm glad this band exists in today's musical context. The work of Public Service Broadcasting is very relevant and touches the hearts and "brains" of many people. I've listened to the song Go! hundreds of times, the mixture of music and history transcends and innovates the merely musical dimension.

Absolutely no idea what any of the equipment demonstrated are or do, but this was a thoroughly fascinating watch!

This is really fascinating. Saw the band live a few days ago, a gig that will live with me for years, just out of this world.

Having a nice solitary creative space with all your physical gear is wonderful but one advantage about softsynth and other virtual gear for me is just being able to take my laptop and some headphones anywhere outdoors. Have lots of little sitting areas indoors & out where I can be free of distractions (except for friendly stray kitties and cute deer family who've taken residence).

I love Spitfire. It’s one of my favourite tracks and conjures up all kinds of emotions. so it’s really interesting to see how he works.

Amazing. Love this. And couldn’t happen to a better bunch or folks to have this kind of space. Wonderful.

Fascinating insight. Totally agree about having fun by twiddling physical knobs etc to make music 🙂👾🤖

This is a hoot. I love PBS, but this might as well be in ancient Latin for all the chance I have of understanding it. Actually scrub that, I’d actually understand the Latin.
Love to see an enthusiastic expert at work!

What a thoroughly nice fellow.I'm an old audio tech and agree far too much time can be spent getting hung up on software and programs and not playing. Ideas can be lost so quickly...

I definitely feel it with the not huge studio room. The studio rooms I had before were noisier and more live, but had very high ceilings, old hardwood floors, and big bay windows and sounded much better. Especially for acoustic guitar. But recently, I did start to get some good results from UAD Sound City. And also micing far end of the corridor outside with the door open. Throwing up some room mics facing the farthest wall, and even dialling in some pre-delay on that helps too. The other thing that helps is building DiY diffusors to go over the panel traps. There's an architectural guide book on studio builds that has good plans for those.

He is a professional and it’s his priority. We could all afford one if it’s our priority. People comment on my guitars, but it’s 30 years of not prioritising booze, fags, holidays, but lower priority than my kids games consoles it seems.

@@BlackMan614 clivemathieu doesn't ask questions, questions ask him ;) I imagine him kicking down concert hall doors mid-recital, shouting 'how you afford a 50k piano!?!?'
