It's great to see how even after years of meta, the unit compositions are still diverse.
Especially the siege machines being a part of it in spite of being slow and vulnerable.

@@ViolosD2I It helps a lot that catapults don't cost food, so the spare resources can easily be spent there - but they're good regardless of that!

    Royal Fried Gobbo
And no, it's not me, you can easily tell by the name not having some variation of "Farlon" and resources actually getting spent

42:00 Note: If you want to slow down a big squeaky robot, apply oil.

You'd think that would have the opposite effect!

Pushing into that concave through a choke point at 29:00? Big oof...That should have been game right there and then.

maybe a bit off-topic but i remember playing spellforce as a young teenager and really loved it the campaign, the music. found the darkevels really badass in this game as far as i remember. but life happens and memories fade and i think i never finished the mainstory... still sometimes remembered the game and always hoped this great series gets the attention it deserves (very similar to age of mythology) with new graphics, animations and so on. i know spellforce3 happened but back at its release i didn't had a good enough gaming pc, then i lost track again... it looks great but DAMN how i wish spellforce universe and its genre would get the funding and manpower like aaa-companies have. it would deserve that so much and it would be better invested than all these more or less "failures" these aaa-studios have nowdays (i don't think i have to mention specific names here). (yes spellforce3 looks great and i am happy it got care and attention but it could have been even better but i know its - for whatever reason - not one of the most popular genres and therefore doesn't get the funding it deserves. aaand now i am talking in circels i am sorry. i kinda feel bad now i bought AoE4 and especially Diablo4 fullprice - should have done that for Spellforce3 to support that series. feelsbadman. hope for a bright future for both spellforce and ageofmythology. btw great interview with GBoG! very cool you talk so open and as objective as possible about things! also much luck with titanquest2! also one of my few young teenagehood games. (i remember how all played AoE3 and i played TitanQuest and i don't regret it) from the images on steam it looks REALLY damn good. text sounds very promising. so hope it will be a banger and a great example for all the ppl behind diablo4. *fingers crossed* also be i sure i will buy and support this for sure and, who knows, maybe someday spellforce4 and aom2 are happening and i will be there and i hope you and many others too! cheers!

      Thanks for the comment!
Definitely not too late to finish the SF3 story, it holds up really well and with the new RTS gameplay it's a lot smoother of an experience than it was at launch. Plus the expansion campaigns are great too (perhaps even better).
Glad you liked the GBoG interview as well.
Will be able to share more about TQ2 in the future, stay tuned! Was a huge fan of game 1 myself, played well over 1k hours.
