Hi Carl. I bought mine used, boxed with all the accessories. I had a look at the charger after 24hours and the Lead Acid as well as Lithium led was lit and the main light was an Amber/green.
The lights were sort of 'vibrating' not really flashing.
The bike started like never before...much more powerful

Hi Carl , I have a 2006 Sportster 883 . I fitted an Oxford tender I purchased from amazon! ( beginning of last year) she’s just had a service and the battery was replaced! Unfortunately the dealer didn’t replace the batteries tender wires ! So I bought new wires from Amazon but the connection wire to the tender is a different type ! I did tell the Harley dealer who said Oh No we would have re installed the wire ! I told them you 100% did not ! I’ve taken the battery cover off and took a photo ! when I showed them ! they said oh well get you a new cable ! I got home a went onto Amazon and bought myself a new cable ! and I’ll again fit it myself ! It’s taking around a week to come ! I shall tell the dealership they’ve lost a future customer.
    Regards
    Trevor

Good video. If the tender is not working check the pigtail 7.5amp fuse before blaming the battery. Fyi, not all battery pigtails have an inline fuse. I went crazy looking for the connection off the battery terminal and its not on the battery. My 2020 HD Heritage came with the tender installed. The 7.5amp fuse is located in the same compartment as the main fuse which is located in the left panel.

Thank you for this video! Since I am colourblind I was not sure, whether I will be able to see the indicator lights on the new battery tender (the old version had just one LED and no blinking so I could not see it) - your video encouraged me to try the new version - I bought one today and it works for me! The orange light ist flashing when disconnected - when I connect it, I can easily compare, if the colour changes to green... The switching LED for Lithium or Lead are the same green - this also makes it possible for me to compare, if they have the same colour as the indicator light or not! Certainly it would have been better, if Harley would use more distinguishable colours (blue?) but I am happy with the new battery tender.

Carl , you're not going to believe this but the Harley lithium battery was totally dead NO LIGHTS , I plugged the Deltran battery tender in and it did not want to charge , after further inspection I had a blown fuse (7.5) went to AutoZone replaced it with a new one went through the steps again and by mistake I put it on AGM , it started to work so after 15 minutes it stopped. ,checked on the battery and one light was on , I unplugged everything and started from scratch with the correct mode damn thing started to charge
Now I have both green lights on and I have a full charge on my battery. All three light are on 😅 .

The bike (2020 Harley Heritage Soft Tail) is 3 yrs old and I have always used the battery tender until 1 month ago when the bike was left for a month without being used or charged. The bike is now dead it seems with no signs of life except for the red flashing light. 3:05 while it's always a good idea to plug in direct to the wall, that's an 800 mah tender, not a charger. a common 100' 14 gauge extension is more than adequate for anything under 15 amps. your not even at 1. even an old school lamp extension is fine for old 4 to 12A battery Chargers. your Tender is fine. your also right about lettings the tender discharge as well. even my stupid new smart charger will keep a memory for 10 to 15 seconds and if it's attached to the battery and not the wall, it won't shut down and reset.
