The problem with chapter's not being yearly is that people will complain that the game is over and are waiting for the next chapter so even if fortnite did go back to normal chapter's people will complain either way fortnite cant please everyone.
fortnite metaverse fucking killed the game like this isn't Roblox lego, rocket racing, and fortnite festival prove it. its like opening a well known sushi restaurant and during a slow season making it an Italian Indian and Mexican restaurant that sells sushi and asking why your loyal customers don't go there anymore.
@@Kurni_On_ytI love the Metaverse as it brought Reload but I agree I want the Metaverse to stay but as a side focus so that we could get the original holiday events and live events back I just hope ch2 OG'S live event is heavily story related as Charlie Wen's story is getting better as we first had ch5 s1 which didn't really have enough story and it's not really when Charlie's story began yes Charlie did work on the story for that season but not a lot I guess it wasn't till ch5 s2 where Charlie Wen's story really began with voicelines being back however only for one character being the Oracle it wasn't till this season where Charlie's story really started kicking in as Troy Baker returned to voice Jones again and Hope finally got a voice actor and Megalo Don the main villain of the season also got voicelines meaning the 3 most important characters of the season got voicelines and not only that but we also got a mysterious villain the Wanderer and they are so mysterious we don't know who they are as to us they are a cloak with smoke coming out of it and the Wanderer watches us and he is sort of like a ghost as he fades through things and when you get close to him he disappears making him Fortnite's spookiest villain and the Wanderer works with Megalo Don and maybe he will betray Megalo Don as maybe the Wanderer is just working with Megalo Don to try and manipulate Hope with the gems of Pandora's box as the gems of Pandora's box may be connected to the Wanderer and Hope is obsessed with finding Pandora's box but Jones warns Hope of what happened to him as Jones explains he got lost in the Zero Point (which confirms the Zero Point still exists) and he got all the way lost so he tells Hope to leave it alone as power like that can't be controlled but Hope ignores Jones's warning and we have to find the gems of Pandora's box for Hope we have already found 3 or 4 in the quests and we are close to finding all and Hope is starting to sound evil so yeah the story is starting to really get good again

Why we suddenly forget the launch of Reload, the Metallica concert or the changes on rankeds? Or the incoming Pirates of the Caribbean collab? They must tag them as "summer event" part to make us feel as some updates summer oriented?
If you look at all the stuff we’ve gotten this seaosn it’s a lot, Metallica, Fallout, Half the island is wasteland, Reload, And soon pirates of the Caribbean, they’ve done a lot for us already
Its sad that we probably wont get good seasonal events because of the meta verse, first winterfest 2023 was pretty bad, and now the summer event, and it sucks because i wasn't playing for any of the older events that wre actually good

@Kurni_On_yt no sweat summer also had the rigged voting system at tilted aka Block 2.0 The voting options were always focused on option C, and that ended up getting more votes than the rest because people kept mindlessly clicking without realizing it. Epic games should have thought about that
I think they should get rid of LEGO Fortnite, festival, and Rocket racing. It's making Battle Royale, which is the only reason the game was ever popular in the first place, a side piece to knockoff Minecraft, Mario Kart, and Guitar Hero.
