Hey everyone it’s Reisshub, and Welcome back to another fortnite battle royale vid! Today Epic just released the new ranger shotgun! Hope you enjoy!

Chapter 2 came out in 2014 fight me
cant believe its been 8 years
Jesus christ i'm old
it certainly felt like it
😂 was about to say why we went back in time for chapter 2
So the current chapter is chapter 4
Damn
That "4th" building material you showed us is actually an upgrade to metal in STW. You can upgrade the strengths of materials in stw, with metal and brick becoming more dark, and wood becoming much more smooth.
yeah but what if it was a concept of a new material before becoming a metal upgrade level
@@_Omriso you’re telling me you’re watching a research video on someone who you always have to be assumptuous about his facts?
@@_Omri are you alright?
@@masonjames1368 bro I said what if I didn't bet my grandpa's prosthetic leg and arm on it

I think the biggest change or the greatest skill gap started when you could first cone someone because that was genuinely the first time you could outplay your opponent close range without using weapons. That one play probably brought so many ideas and was the reason we went to build fights, box fights and piece control at an exponential rate.
I'd say ppl learning good peeks
wrong. it was playground mode
There are ao many naive people who thought coning was such a great skill huh? Wtf
@@tiagomota4734it is
completely agree, people will say playground mode but build fights got way more important when you could just completely switch up the momentum of a fight with one build
this is so well summerized, that was a really fast development in the beginning!
Ok
1:16 in save the world u can upgrade your wood, brick and metal walls to level 3 and the build type u see there is metal upgraded to level 2 i think.
It takes 20 metal to upgrade to lvl 2 en 30 to upgrade to lvl 3. Same goes for wood and brick.
Thank you I didn't want to type that lmao
I stopped watching at that point because I know he didn't do any research and is just talking for the sake of it
@@donuts4dilla There really was going to be a 4th building material though.

@@edmanbosch7443 I think epic just wanted to showcase that you could upgrade your existing building pieces 🤔

I remember at school everyone would talk about how quick they can build a 1by1 box. The people who no longer play, still think editing is hard 🥶, this game has changed so much both in good and bad ways
I love how sweaty the game is, there's always room for Improvement and I enjoy the challenge. Other games are still sweaty but the skill needed isn't as high
STRATEGY OVER SKILL
That's precisely why I avoid Build mode, Box Fights, Zone Wars, Arena, etc.
I hate being in a competitive field. I'm not sweaty, I don't care about winning, or getting crowns, or anything like that. It's just not fun at all.
When it comes to Fortnite, I just like the story, and the fun vehicles and items. I honestly don't understand how anyone could enjoy being competitive.
@@taqresu5865 I was referencing pub games, arena is where the predictable potatos play. It's not about always winning but getting 1 or 2 or more feels good I mean it is the literal point of the game but u do you

I remember in seasons 2 3 and 4 refining my building so that I could stand a chance in lobbies since my aim was so awful. Watching jaomock and myth and hamlinz seeing new building techniques and strategies, what a time for the game. Wish you had mentioned that before coning people used floors in that same way far before, but not nearly as consistently working as cones. I havent changed my building style much since then and I still don't think I've ever built a cone on PC now, but man I miss those days. The skill gap is so much wider now
this is real bro. I was one of the first of my friends to get a solo dub back in season 2. I also showed my little brother how to play, Now he’s better than me 😢
You nailed it with this video man. I took a break after building got too much for me. I was there in 2017. I loved it. I still love it. With chapter 5 coming out today, and no build being a thing, I’ve never loved it more. I still sometimes practice my build but I enjoy not HAVING to be good at it. Great video!
I had played the entirety of C1 and half of C2, then came back during og and C5 and zero build has gotta be the best experience by far for me, it's just so relaxing being able to shoot at people without them doing stuff I cannot even comprehend
I've been playing since season 3 and I still stick with no build, I find it a lot more fun to think tactically about where I can find cover and what advantages I can grant myself with the environment instead of just building myself some cover wherever I need it, makes traveling more dangerous aswell which is fun.
Aussie and reishubb are just a much watch if you want to stay up to date with fortnite
Papa jeriant
I really enjoyed this. It had great detail and really well structured. This video is your best yet!
Mongraal was a pioneer and he was the true god at piece control before it was even a thing. "Mongraal classic" was the first ever piece control technique and it's still used to this day since it's still extremely effective.
I played a lot casually back in chapter one but left after the skill gap for building became so broad. The introduction of No-Build brought me back and has kept me playing for many seasons.
Skill issue
@@FazeRustyNuts yea that’s why I left, because I didn’t have enough skill to compete. Now with the skill ceiling lowered I can play again. That is the definition of a skill issue. I had a skill issue. They made the game easier for me.
@@grrrlnamedcleoi like that ypu actually say that you have skill issue and not just try to blame it on others
@@0sm0 I respect it
@@0sm0 Of course it is a skill issue. Personally, seeing old teammates spending hours in creative just to be somewhat decent at edits was a big no no for me. It was just a skillset I was not interested to have.
I stopped playing fortnite around the end of ch1s6 just because of how sweaty building was then, I didn't even know it could get nearly that intense. Such a high skill floor that made it quite literally unplayable.
But I tried Zero Build this past week and I've been having more fun with the game than I ever had before.
Skill issue.
@@FazeRustyNuts Yes that is what I said

The “stronger than metal” material you refer to at 1:20 is just tier 2 metal in Save the World
amazing video. brought back a lot of nostalgia. i laughed so hard at the double ramp trap card part 🤣
Fun fact in Save the World that stronger metal you mentioned is actually still in that mode, There's up to 3 levels of Strength of all Materials (wood, brick and metal) and that's the level 2 version of metal builds, not just walls
In save the world you can upgrade your builds after unlocking a skill, which is what the unused metal you’re talking about is
you missed me teaching everyone how to side jumps and build fight strats in the playground section
Underrated yt
I always found it astonishing how fortnite is such a unique game. Litteraly all games made their game so players would play it like the game is supposed to be played. But with fortnite players have created something that couldn't even be mentally considered in 2017. Its like how humans cant imagine how space started. Nobody could imagine how building and movement would be used in just a couple years.
Rocket League is similar in that way.
Entirely possible that Reiss has never made a bad video
I was actually playing 3 months prior from when they added no build. I was trash because I was just learning. I was bummed for the time it was gone because even though I hated building, I wanted so badly to learn. I do like that they added no build though because newer players won't feel as overwhelmed like I did, and still feel at times. I would've loved the option when I started, because I despised building, but once you learn its pretty fun.
You nailed this. I've been a long time shooter player but stayed away from Fortnite because I'm "old" and know my limits. No way I could build like some of the people I see. Last week I decided to give the game another try, this time queuing into Zero Build and I've been hooked since. I do still want to learn how to build at least a bit, because I'd like to try out Arena. But I'm fine playing Zero Build for now, the game is so much fun.
I'm an old noob playing build modes with my teenage son who's light years ahead of me skill-wise. My advice, is don't jump into Arena (or currently 'ranked mode') straight away - it will just discourage you as pretty much everyone will take you on like you don't matter at all. Start with bots and creative maps, then play in 'non-ranked' mode. Learning building and editing can be fun but the skill gap in Arena will be too much for you to handle. Good luck.
If you go by the outline he provided in the video by first developing the muscle memory to build a wall in reaction to getting shot at it goes a long way to get an upper hand on the opponent. If they are god tier then I recommend building up a ramp like you know what you're doing and they will tend to do the same in return and then run away as fast as you can once they loose sight of you. lol.
I just practiced placing one type of piece defensively and offensively until I could do it instinctively and then added the others as needed from there. After getting the palcements down, go to creative for a few minutes before queing up in BR and practice wall, floor, ramp and cone edits. You don't have to be amazing to take down a pro player, they all tend to be overly aggressive and if you box up and wait for them to come in your box you can tend to win often by using a cone or ramp in your box and editing it out of the way to take a shot as they break the wall, just watch the health bar of the wall/ramp/come/etc and time the shot.
I'm like the guy he mentions on the video, I don't play 8 hours a day. I play for maybe 2 and since Season 5 Chapter 1, the skill's have come slowly but surely
Me too.
I come from TF2, of course I'm used to a first person camera and some quirks and mechanics from there.
Getting into normal BR Fortnite feels too fast and I actually die faster in the game (Not even reaching 75th place).
Meanwhile, no-build BR Fortnite it's just perfect for me. Heck, it even help me get into third person shooters better.
aye man, you’re never too old for games.
We first got a taste of "No build" in CH1 SX with Tilted Town where you couldn't build at all, i remember saying to my friends at the time "imagine in a future season they just remove building entirely" they told me i was talking nonsense and epic would "never remove the core mechanic of their game" and fast forward a few years and they did. It was honestly a good move for game as i was never good at building even when i got better in late chapter 2 so now i will play a few matches of Zero Build and then if im feeling luckily jump in to a build match or just play rumble.
Same here, FN buddies would laugh at me when I said a no build mode would be more fun, at least for the casual players. The trajectory of the game where being good at building would become by far the most important skillset within the game, it became more and more clear.
It was quite obvious - spending hours to practice edits, farming materials between fights, high intensity builds. Playing this game was a cognitive overload at its finest, and people were tired af after playing it for couple of hours. Moreover, playing it with high ping, or lower frames, would be also extremely disadvantageous.
Not everyone wanted to become a pro, FN started eating up itself, because without casuals, the pro scene can't exist, but this is a thing most wannabe pro toxic kids and streamers wouldn't understand. Good move by EPIC. Now I can play few no build games, just as I would play some Battlefield or CoD.
I think zero build made the game stay relevant as there was a pause in the skill gap between new and cracked player....me personally started or tried the game when zero build was introduced....not an OG but definitely a G
I’m just saying, you forgot to mention counter piece control which was revolutionary. Simply putting a cone in ur box so no one else did is a form of counter piece control. Great video though
The mental dexterity it takes to engage someone in a box by placing pieces around them predicting where they'll try to escape, replace their wall place a ramp edit blah blah blah is most impressive to me and why I'm not even trying to learn lmao
Great trip down memory lane. I loved this. Wish I played Chapter 1.
Architects Cup - loved it! No one tried to piece control me!
imagine going back to in time to when fortnite battle royale was released and playing then with your skills, that would be so unfair LOL
I couldn’t disagree more about them removing or increasing the time between builds. I loved that update, made the game far more thoughtful and tactical and they only had it for a couple of days and so many people moaned they switched it back. Personally I thought that was the best thing they ever did. Turbo building should never have been put in the game, that was the beginning of the end. Changed building from tactical placement of defensive builds to who cam spam more/ who has the better ping.
sadly, right before it was reverted, players started to bypass the change by binding building to scroll wheel so they could continue to spam or literally spam clicking as fast as possible.
@@tutiVIIyou can just place a wall AND a stair behind it and both of them block the shots and none will bleed through
Its so funny when people who have no idea how something works comment on it. Bro said building is "just spamming and low ping" LOOOL. Building in fortntie is one of the most mechanically complex features in any video game, it takes a LOT of skill, and yes, strategy.
@@tutiVII its true LMAO
I’d love to see a video, detailing the brief history of players playing zoom/ stretch mode , it feels like something the casuals (me) didn’t understand well
no build for life !!!!! can't stop playing and I love it !!!! :D
Skill issue in building 😂
Epic adds bots to their game before they nerf turbo building to trick players into thinking they are better than they are.
by the time this video released to today the skill ceiling has doubled with retakes and insane free build piece controls
The double ramp wall days were hilarious
A little research and you'd see that the "4th material" was tier 2 metal from Save The World.
That guy in the comment section of the video that said that building should be part of an LTM goes crazy. The fact that the main aspect of the game should just be put in an LTM in his opinion is mad. Great and interesting vid btw Reiss. Keep it up!
Save the World walked so Battle Royale could run
boxfighting became meta in the 4th season. late games consisted of big amount of players sitting in their own boxes, waiting for zones
One thing that you maybe forgot about mechanical skills, was the edit delay update
At season 5 or 6 I don't remember exactly, editing a wall started being inside the player's pc and confirming the edit is the only one thing that goes to the server, before that update opening the edit menu was going to the server which causes a lot of server lag and delay on editing.
i forgot about the .15 turbo update. That was so horrible. as a high ping player it made it worse for everyone hands down. great documentary!
Sure it’s hard to get good at, but I’ve been playing since the start of chapter 2 and it’s really fun to get good over time, practicing with my friends in creative who’ve been playing since season 1 has also contributed to me getting better because of their tips on building and aiming.
start of chaper 2 wtf that's so late prime fortnite was like season 1 - 3
@@raphaelverano5127 and
@@raphaelverano5127 prime was season 5-7... before that it was unrefined.
This is actually a very good game documentary lol. As someone who has been interested on fortnite and building for quite a few time I can tell that this is pretty accurate
I'm gonna lay out a few simple things as a 2000 hour player
1. people who call a good player a "sweats" are just coping with people bad by blaming it on someone else
2. fortnite is not difficult to get good at if you put in the time
3. stretched resolution was never a problem and shouldn't of been removed
3. if someone spent a few weeks grinding fortnite they could make earnings easily, not an hour a day I mean like really grinding, like you take a break to eat and go outside for a while and then hop right back on.
Build fights with someone at your skill level are really fun, the problem is that usually you'll end up fighting someone way better or worse then you and it becomes horribly imbalanced.
But that happens in every fing game, in 37 and i ppayed some really cool games , hardcore games, i consider fortnite since we have the buildingto be hardcore as well so its always going to be like that! You just have to be the best and murder almost everyone and you will have fun!
Really solid video, thanks for making this! Been playing since 2017 and it’s crazy to look back on how fast building developed
Ahh yes chapter 2 came out in 2014, the nostalgia 😢
If you didn't know the 4th type of build mat was a level 2 wall only in STW
I played fortnite since season 3 chapter 1 and left after season 3 chapter 2 because I still couldn't build, but then more stuff got added and I joined back during the Kevin season and loved the new weapons that you didn't have to reload and the no build bubbles around the map, then out of nowhere I like the game again because the old stuff ended and chapter 3 began, I felt good getting away from people who could build with web slingers and spraying peoples walls with the mk-7 but then season 2 came and I haven't left no builds, it really gave me big chances to win because well everyone was now brung down to my skill level of hiding in bushes because I couldn't build out of people getting into my boxes, and there was no defensive defending and only offensive defending was left, I love that fortnite has always been able to get me hooked on it while giving me the break I needed from it
They should really add a mode with building stanima so you can build forts like in stw but buildfights are super limited and that "insane" buildfight will be insane again
That's what I said, make it so there is a building stamina and you could only build around 5 builds every 10 seconds. That way we could still navigate the map with ease, or build cover without the overshield. And we could lose the people building the Burj Khalifa when a single bullet hits them.
Turbo build off, height limit of 2 or 3 (unless attatched to hill) no hot keys and edit delays and bam, og fortnite feels haha
@@zephyr36381 build every 2 seconds? So what the f is that?
I used to play in february 2020 and i was really skilled: i could boxfight, buildfight and piece control better than many skilled players. I quit in may and i came back some days ago and i was surprised to see that even "mediocre" players in low divisions could predict my moves and counter many of my techniques(that at the time were unknown). Its kind of overwhealming to see that the "high" level of 2 years ago is now below mediocre
imo the original introduction of turbobuilding was what caused fortnites slow decline
Watching these kinds of videos after i quit fort after spending hundreds of hours trying to get good and going thru all these phases of building tears me up ngl
*I'm pretty good at builds but I got it boring to practice and with every start of the game to get mats..*
When Epic released Zero Build mode I got back playing and were doing 10-30 elims every game. Most people complain that the map isn't made for NoBuilds but it's totally fine. That's why I love playing FT because of the open field. Apex and COD have too much hiding spots and it's so hard to see the enemy from far.
ZeroBuild is super fun mode, I wish EPIC keep it in the next season. I'm tired of sweats who train 24/7. In ZB they cannot build 5 Star hotel in 2 second and it's so easy to eliminate them sitting in a bush :D
The video is so cool! I play FT for almost 5 years and enjoy the story line since the day one. This is one of the most influential game in my life after Half-Life, Counter Strike and few others.
In other words you can’t keep up
The quality of ur videos is insane
wow, fortnite is truly one of a kind. many people think the building aspect of fortnite came from minecraft or roblox but the original fortnite came along side minecraft having both its release date on 2011
when they changed turbo building it didnt actually get reverted only the first build did the ones after that when holding went from .15 to .10 first build is .5 this means after the first wall attempt fails the second wall replace will always favor the person taking it not holding it. coin flip only happens when you both place at same time but if one players builds place .5 faster it will never go to coin flip
The editing in this video is crazy. good job on this video i enjoyed it
Zero build is honestly so fun after playing build after all these years, it feels more fast paced like cod instead of Minecraft
the fact when he talked about less skilled players he showed timthetatman xD
12:03 we can just refer to that worldwide event by the time where everyone was at home, but people who were born in 2020 and afterwards will have to investigate to understand that, imagine people watching this video, getting to 12:03, and asking themselves "what just happened there? I don't understand"
I have played since day one and quit around chapter 2 bc of how bad the building had become and I couldn’t keep up at all and it was just annoying but now with zero build I love the game again it was literally the best thing they have ever done and idk why it took them so long to
It's crazy that when you look back at the way we build in Fortnite, u will ask yourself "Is it the way I builded once" it's crazy how time flies!
How have I only seen this now wtf , this was beautiful bro
Such high-effort videos you got my man, keep it up!
Zero Build mode is the only reason I still play Fortnite. I stopped playing in late 2020 because I was good enough at building so that I wasn't in bot lobbies every game, but was not good enough to compete with those player that had mastered the mechanic by spending countless hours each week to practice it.
With building removed, the accuracy and game theory that I have been perfecting for the past 15 years shines through and I am able to compete with even the sweatiest of players, even as a casual who only has time to play a few hours each week.
as some1 who came back to the game after 3 yrs is till play build mode as the amount of quick thinking required makes it more fun for me, compared to zb which is just really easy.
The skill gap would've stayed a good size if epic just completely removed turbo building altogether at one point
no without turbo build the game becomes unplayable you can just get sprayed without having cover
Without turbo building, controller players have no chance
It's still a tragedy they completely killed the true Fortnite. The actual name for the game doesn't even have meaning anymore. Years of work replaced by a couple months of work on top of the already years of work.
There was one more evolution in building that you didn't mention here and it's because it is still currently happening. It's the further evolution of piece control. You mentioned 2 of the 4 piece control types. Initially it started as just boxing up a player for traps. That was the first type.
We then got the second piece control type. Predictive, which you touched on. You would see a player motioning towards the wall on their left and you would immediately build a box outside of that, so if they did edit the wall, they'd run into your box.
We then have the final 2 styles of piece which were created b/c of each other.
Preventitive and counter piece control.
Counter piece is when someone takes your wall or full boxes you and you immediately box them when they make an edit on said wall. You have now boxed them in response to counter their piece. There's a pretty famous clip of sypher pk having this happen to him where he full pieced a player in an attempt to trap him and the player jumped through his edit and pieced sypher and trapped him instead. This is the first instance I remember seeing this.
The other part of this is preventitive piece control. This was made to prevent players from using counter piece on you. If you control all the pieces around you. They can't piece control you. This also prevents third parties from spraying you and came pretty naturally.
There's still evolutions going on in the game. Mantling and sprinting have added a new element which is certainly spicing things up. I haven't seen any breakthrough changes with these mechanics, but I have no doubt there will be some.
I think it was in chap 1 season 5, when they added player's builds breaking environment, before that ur blue print was in red and you couldn't build at all, that was very frustrating when fighting in a city or arround a house
1:21
In STW, that fourth building material is what you get by upgrading your metal builds one time
Skill gap is crazy fr, tryna get back into the game after not playing following chap 1 season 5 and few times during chap 2

I remember in chapter 2 s1 during the no update era or whatever I got so frustrated that I kept getting builder on that I played 24/7 just to perfect my buildin and it made the Fortnite experience so much more fun honestly
Fair play. Very insightful. Good vid. Cheers
I actually had someone’s parent come in on career day, they showed early STW stuff and I thought it was cool, never thought it would turn into this
I’m not the best at fortnite but the building is what got me interested at the time and I’m glad players have mastered it to a degree
played since day 1 stw and i now only exclusively play zero build it feels like og fn to me back when aim and positioning was the real important gameplay not who can edit the fastest i stopped playing for a long time bcs i simply couldnt keep up with most of the players when it came to building (skill issue yea i know) but ive been playing almost every day since no build has been a thing
I started playing Fortnite just because of No Build, I don't think I will ever play the build mode. I hope they add Arenas for no build mode, it's honestly way more fun for me.
12:30 i thought he was talking about the actual c2 s3 sharks lmao
And this is why fortnite is the hardest shooter

Zero build is revolutionary, they make the line clear between the sweats and the casuals. Even those who is good at building is switching into zero build for casual fun
I miss old fornite so much 😢
The most Well Done Documentary!
It’s crazy how no one even does nineties now given it was literally one of the most crucial mechanics you needed to know
I only just discovered Fortnite this Christmas and I’m hooked if it wasn’t for zero build mode I would have never stuck with the game. It’s really fun and I hope to learn building eventually I just wish there was an tutorial or some way to get acquainted with the controls
I'm way too old for Fortnite (shaky hands and slow reflexes) but my son dragged me in and he hates zero build. So, I'm trying to learn to become a better casual gamer (no aspirations to become a pro or anything) but, the skill gap often is crazy big. The skill gap depends on the lobbies you join, so for your first attempts at BR, you'll probably face mostly bots. I remember the first time we played with my son we got 14 wins in a row with an average of 10-20 kills per match. But the moment you start playing against more/less experienced players with game sense and decent mechanics, they pretty much destroy you instantly. I won't deny it - it's discouraging. One thing I can recommend, go to creative practice maps and spend more time there. There are tons of tutorials on YT. Some of the practice maps let you play against tons of bots. For the beginner, might be less discouraging... IMHO, Fortnite build mode is probably the most complex game mechanically that I've seen, and I've been playing shooters since the very first PCs. But it also provides you with tons of stuff to constantly learn and improve as it is not just point and click .
the problem is that building in Fortnite is so complicated and deep. and it's purely built by players who have played for years. kind of like rocket league mechanics. the devs probably never saw this coming. which is what makes the game so special. it's a natural skill progression driven by the players drive to get better. it's not some fabricated competitive games. so a tutorial on building won't really help that much
@@UldisBizW Dad
I don't know if it is still relevant to you, but here's my take. As an adult with a wife, two children, a marketing agency to run, and a relatively slow mind when it comes to FN BR, I'm not naturally gifted and no one would peg me for 'next Bugha', and I struggled a lot. For about 2 years I couldn't kill a single real player in BR (zero builds are more forgiving), and, obviously, it was very frustrating. Yes, it was that bad. I just simply 'don't get it' when my son 'just gets it' and learns/improves super-fast. Less than a month ago, when I was fed up with feeling like a total 'cushion' in this game where everyone just kicks me aside, and moves on like I don't exist. In my profession (SEO, digital marketing), I'm among the best in the world, but in FN BR I was a total bottom feeder. Many times I said "I'm done with this s#it! I'm not improving at all" but my son and his teenage buddies have always been encouraging "You'll get there Business... you are getting better Biz". I just enjoy the bonding and team comradery in this game. Also, there's plenty of time for a good giggle, and just having fun around. So, I made a decision to hire a coach and learn the game step by step. With the help of coach Zykoma, it took me less than a month to start feeling comfortable in the game. Two days ago I beat 1v1 in the Pit one of my son's teenage buddies (18:9), who's been casually playing FN BR since Season 1, and is currently grinding towards unreal with my son. I don't want to hijack ReissHub's thread (much respect to Reisshub and his expertise), but I suggest, checking coach Zykoma's videos as well. If you can afford it, go for coaching. For me personally, the two biggest breakthroughs that ACTUALLY catapulted me forward in terms of progress were buying some extra gear (Azeron Cyborg, 200hz monitor and VGN Dragonfly Moba edition mouse) and working with a professional FN BR coach. I've watched tons of educational videos on this channel and many others, and there's a lot of great advice, no doubt. Somehow, for me personally structured, step-by-step approach to practice the right things at the right sequence was necessary. I only regret not doing it earlier. Don't give up, just find the right advice, practice and celebrate small wins, and don't beat yourself up (I know I've been guilty of having very harsh self-talk). If I'm not mistaken, you are young, you won't need two years, I'm sure ;) My son was decent in 2 months on default FN settings, a 60hz monitor and my old laptop, haha.
@@avuci yesterday I accidentally walked in on a PUBG Mobile championship in a mall, and I thought to myself 'Geez, this game is mechanically so ridiculously simple'. Camping, peaking and shooting, that's about it. Master these two things and you are king. I got bored watching the best in the region, seemed to me like they were just camping all the time, and occasionally shooting. Obviously, it's most probably not the case and actual PUBG players wouldn't agree with me, but one thing that I love about FN BR is that it feels like there's never an end to improvement, there's always some new item, new thing to learn. I love progress, improving, getting better, so I'm not giving up, even though most kids are more skilled than old uncle Biz...
hi sypher
love your vids
I started Ch2 S1 didn’t get to experience or know what Ch1 building evolved from, now I can’t wait to finally drop on the old map before Ch5
3:04 oh what a time to be alive

I will never have the mechanical skill to pull off building. I feel it's a lot more fun to play zero-build, because it forces players to focus exclusively on aim and positioning, especially with the extra 50 overshield. Zero-build made me actually enjoy the game a lot more than when I left sometime back in chapter 1. Since I left Fortnite, I actually played other games, got some pretty decent aim, and can now take on a casual lobby.
Im 37 and i can build and outplay so many people in my lobbies, i feel like im always one of the best players in every lobby, why you dont have the skill to build??? Did you tried 1 month of creative 1 hour/day and kovaaks 1 hour to see how you can become in only one month?? You all want to become good in 3 days thats why you feel like youre not good or you cant!
I was banned from Fortnite from mid 2018 up until about december of 2023.
After Epic finally gave me my account back it was like being released from a cyrogenic chamber. I was and still am so woefully behind the normal playerbase in build mode.
Zero-Build i actually dont struggle with too much but I feel like I'm missing out on half of the game when I play that mode.
1:18 that is upgraded metal it's in save the world
