I am usually a fan of the original versions of songs and movies but I must say that I love the Rebekah del Rio version from "Mulholland Drive". Her version really makes me want to cry!
Rebekah Del Rio's version is the best, by far. The other two are great, for sure, but just Rebekah's voice singing in Spanish is so powerful and emotive that is really outstanding.
You have to hear then & only KD Lang !! Now de Rio is a masterpiece , also in Spanish , not an apples to apples comparison They certainly are the 2 bests !!
I love this song so much. Roy Orbisons is the original which I love so much. I showed my friend Rios rendition and she fell in love with it. My Trish, my friend passed away 3 days ago & to me this is my song to her...only thing is I will never touch her hand again. I am crying.
After listening to these three versions, my verdict is Don McLean is the one that left me feeling the most vulnerable. All three artists are tremendously gifted, but for me, and I only speak for myself, Don McLean‘s version made my spine tingle. 💙💜❤️💚
Absolutely. The problem is there’s too many ‘Mulholland Drive’ fanboys in this comment section. It’s a great film but imo they’re not being honest with themselves if they think they really prefer the RDR version.
Just an amazing song. Ms. Del Rio has a fantastic voice. Orbison was known as a 'Rock-a-Billy' artist but his talents far more than that. My wife saw him in a live performance at the former Valley Forge Music Fair in the mid 80's.
Rebekah’s version smash’s it outa the park , devastating , she captures the gutting sentiment of this classic song that most of us that has had a broken heart can relate to ♥️♥️♥️
Roy Orbison is an adorable man with the most beautiful voice. And i have to say that the first time i listen the version of Rebekah i didnt know it was from him. And that song or version moves your heart and feelings of melancolia' so deep..... for me are beautiful every version because they are feeling every word... this song drives you to a sad reallity ... when your heart still.. owns to that person that maybe walks with another... that person that .. doesnt know that you remember his arms the touch of a hand...
Both first versions are smooth and sweet, but nothing trembles, strikes, terrifies you and make u feel inside of a small box you cannot get out, yet infinite towards unexpected feelings, like Rebeka's version. In a long time hadn't heard such voice and version.
THANK U ALEX, FOR POSTING THESE WONDER VERSIONS OF THE SAME SONG WITH THE THREE SINGERS THAT I ENJOYED HEARING. I GOT A THRILL HEARING THEM , ROY O. DON M. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST REBEKA D. BUT I AM KIND OF PREFERENCE OF THAT BEAUTIFUL VOICE OF DON MCLEAN. I SAY TO U GOOD FINDING JOB.
Llorando: best part of the movie. When I saw it, I realized I knew the melody but I coudn't place it. In English, it's a good song. In Spanish, with Rebekah singing it, it sounds like opera, like grand opera, like opera knocked out of the park and flying flying flying on and up.
Rebekah del Rio laid down one of the greatest vocals of all time, credit should also go to the sound engineer. Go listen to K D Lang's live version, that will also blow you away. Roy would have been so proud.
I love the Rebekah Del Rio version! There's a great video of her here on youtube singing a song called Nobody's Angel and then Llorando. Adrian Belew does a great acoustic version with just him and an acoustic guitar.
Soy superfan de Don por lo que no puedo comentar objetivamente, pero lo que si puedo decir es que la canción es bellísima, la letra tan sentida que hasta duele y deja a una CRYING CRYING CRYYYING....
I like the Rebekah del Rio version from a purely musical standpoint, but the song must be listened to from a total standpoint to get the emotion of the song. Listening to it in Spanish for me is just syllables put to music, while Roy's version conveys the emotion to me. It might be different to me if I had taken Spanish in high school instead of German.
I am sure!! Haha the meaning its a little bit different... deepest or more tragic... coming from the heart of a woman.... for me is easy to conect with this feeling .. you need to be in a paused' moment.. very quite moment or a little depressed... just after have seen your first deep love.... in person in the street.. your heart is beating bur you smile and your eyes are crying... and he touch to you .. with his hand in a casual touch and you know you never will have this skin near you... nothing.... just silly things... :')
You are a bobo Bob... All my respects to Roy Orbison for composing and performing this awesome song, but the spanish version blew me away (way to go Rebeka, if you ever read this, disregard the ignorant that thinks that America is the USA only ;)
I don't like Rebekah del Rio version, the translation to spanish sounds stupid, not well done,I heard years ago a much better version but I can't find it anywhere
I am usually a fan of the original versions of songs and movies but I must say that I love the Rebekah del Rio version from "Mulholland Drive". Her version really makes me want to cry!
CRESTON TANNER me too! Rebekah del Río is a great singer and I don't know it's because I am Latin but I love her version!
this was me in 1961 wen we had to break up, then seeing her in the hallways in school was so hard. Never got over her . but Roy's version is the best.
It's hard to describe just how beautiful this is.
Rebekah Del Rio's version is the best, by far. The other two are great, for sure, but just Rebekah's voice singing in Spanish is so powerful and emotive that is really outstanding.
The version by Rebekah is haunting. What a beautiful voice. Her vocal control is crazy!!
Hauting for the ones who don't speak spanish but the lyrics are bad,and example of you don't translate a song to a different language
Rebekah Del Rio is the only person I ever heard that could carry Roy's song I wish they could of done a duet.
+tube01 That would have been incredible :'D
I'm hip : )
You have to hear then & only KD Lang !! Now de Rio is a masterpiece , also in Spanish , not an apples to apples comparison
They certainly are the 2 bests !!

Don McLean with his warm voice and endless charisma makes me cry almost at any song he sings. His version live is out of this world.
As much as I like the other two, I have to agree with you: Rebekah's version is my favorite.
Don Mclean versión released in 1971 will always be ny favorite.
Das ist einfach Sensationell
After listening to these three versions, my verdict is Don McLean is the one that left me feeling the most vulnerable. All three artists are tremendously gifted, but for me, and I only speak for myself, Don McLean‘s version made my spine tingle. 💙💜❤️💚
Absolutely. The problem is there’s too many ‘Mulholland Drive’ fanboys in this comment section. It’s a great film but imo they’re not being honest with themselves if they think they really prefer the RDR version.
don mcclean's is probably my personal favorite
Roy Orbison owns this song. He is the best !
Just an amazing song. Ms. Del Rio has a fantastic voice. Orbison was known as a 'Rock-a-Billy' artist but his talents far more than that. My wife saw him in a live performance at the former Valley Forge Music Fair in the mid 80's.
Rebekah’s version smash’s it outa the park , devastating , she captures the gutting sentiment of this classic song that most of us that has had a broken heart can relate to ♥️♥️♥️
Don's version is beautiful, but Roy fucking KILLED this song. His voice brings me to tears every time when I hear the emotion he puts into it.
Pete exactly! Roy’s is best!
All three versions stand on their own! I particularly like Rebekah's version and I don't know spanish but it speaks to the heart.
Awesome compilation!
The best for me which made me feel like crying is kd lang. so much feeling so much emotion touching my heart and soul. They are all so good however.
Wow this video was uploaded 10 years ago. I was beginning a new stage in life and now it seems so long ago. I love this song and Rebekah del Rio
I think this is how angels in HEAVEN sing she stopped my Heart to hear her sing
Rebekah's voice will take to for a ride.
50 years, and it still captures what music is all about.
Llorando is the best version
No sirve no bueno No the best version,it seems like a 6 year old did the translation

Love this song all version are beautiful

Bellísimo
WOW no words Breathless
this was a major hit for Roy Orbison. Another version by Don Mclean is also very good.
Llorando: best part of the movie. When I saw it, I realized I knew the melody but I coudn't place it. In English, it's a good song. In Spanish, with Rebekah singing it, it sounds like opera, like grand opera, like opera knocked out of the park and flying flying flying on and up.
This is a great song sung beautifully by many artists, but my absolute favorite is Rebekah del Rio's version. Touches my soul.
Rebekah's version is way better! her voice is incredible, singing acapella and sounding this good?! Love her!
Do you speak spanish?! The translation is garbage, like a 6 year old did it
@@francoherrera1265 Please feel free to do everyone this honor.
Roy is still number one on this one...
Rebekah gave me chills all over!
Rebekah del Rio version is best
No it's not,I speak spanish
Rebekah del Rio laid down one of the greatest vocals of all time, credit should also go to the sound engineer. Go listen to K D Lang's live version, that will also blow you away. Roy would have been so proud.
KD did sing this with him.
I just don't like her spanish version,She might have a great voice.but fell short in this song translation to spanish
If Rebekah Del Rio doesn't bring you to tears you legally have no soul.
The Spanish version is absolutely beautiful but i love all 3 verions.
Rebekah Del Rio - Llorando
I love the Rebekah Del Rio version! There's a great video of her here on youtube singing a song called Nobody's Angel and then Llorando. Adrian Belew does a great acoustic version with just him and an acoustic guitar.
spanish version is AWESOME !!
all of these are fantastic, but my favorite has to be Orbison's duet with K.D. Lang
rebekah del rio owns in this challenge. her version brings emotions and feelings that truly make you want to cry lol
i choose the rebeca version :) is just her voice
Exactly just the voice because the lyrics are garbage, she could have done a better job
Roy Orbison es lo más!!!! Existe una versión hermosa con K.D. Lang.
It's Don for me ...
ALL ARE BRILLIANT !!!! THERE ARE MANY MANY MORE EQUALLY AS GOOD !!!
K.D LANG, GENE PITNEY, GLEN CAMPBELL,HANK MARVIN ETC ETC.
There's another Spanish version by Don McLean called "Lloras".
REBEKHA DEL RIO 💔
another version also was by J D Southard
I like the Rebekah del Rio version from a purely musical standpoint, but the song must be listened to from a total standpoint to get the emotion of the song. 🤺💐
@Martatinhabbrr Rebekah Del Rio
La troisième est nulle
This IS an American song and at the very least should damn well be sung in American English!
I don't understand... Are you against translations?
LOL. Llorando IS the best version. Deal with it.
You are a bobo Bob... All my respects to Roy Orbison for composing and performing this awesome song, but the spanish version blew me away (way to go Rebeka, if you ever read this, disregard the ignorant that thinks that America is the USA only ;)
Obviously this guy - BoB - is just starting a flame....some of you fell for it and became bigoted in return.....
Take this L Bob...
L = Llorando
A version by KD Lang is better than all three.
I don't like Rebekah del Rio version, the translation to spanish sounds stupid, not well done,I heard years ago a much better version but I can't find it anywhere
Don McLean for me ,,
