I've come to have more respect for Kanaeva, but her movements still seem coltish and rushed, and I don't feel as much emotion as I do from more elegant gymnasts. She has superior flexibility and handling in many areas, but I don't see much imagination or beauty in her routines.
@dancingwithoutwords what a bs comment. How do u know who is for real and who is for not. I think Kanaeva doesn't feel any emotions in her dance. I am a dancer myself and I dont feel it. "More real", Bessonova pretending... Like pretending what ? doing gymnastics?
that was a beautiful pivot at :41, sometimes she messes it up but they still credit it to her but this time she deserved the credit! I actually think Anya has more control and consistency especially in her turns but the judges are quicker to discredit her mistakes.
camille32087 But Besso is amlways moving the free leg and checking the base foot also bending her knee for not having a wobble in her turns and also her turns are way easier than Kanaeva's
I dont think age isthe reason, Bessonova always had some mistakes and disadvantages like her back flex, I think it's a problem with technic, Kanaeva is very clean and do everything textbook code, she's controled and consistent, more then bessonova who always have mistakes like in her turns

there was a lot of uncleanness in this performance. I hope the judges didnt give her the best score as usual by overscoring here

i prefer anna's
