There are truly no words powerful enough to describe just how utterly beautiful this music is.... No amount of time can ever change that! When I was a little girl my parents gave me the CD of this spectacular concert. I felt so many wonderful emotions and that's when I discovered that I could express them through dance. Yanni unlocked a hidden talent I never knew I had... When I retired as a dance professional and choreographer my last piece was "Nostalgia". I wanted to honour the man who unlocked my door of creation and expression. Thank you! (Btw, I don't think I have ever seen such a wonderful collection of comments on youtube from incredible people all over the world. The kindness and love that Yanni's music brings out in all of us is breathtaking!)

Was introduced to Yanni's music by my father.. and especially when he came for his concert at the Taj Mahal in 1997..have heard almost all of his albums.. Nostalgia always touched my heart especially when in a solemn mood.. stopped listening to any music regularly since a couple of years now..don't remember when I last listened to Nostalgia..but couldn't stop the tears flowing and feeling overwhelmed listening to it now..!!
Same here. My dad introduced me to Yanni. Until the last moment was done for my first wedding. Beautiful. I cry at EVERY time Nostalgia plays. My dad died before my first marriage. I cry EVERY time! 🙂

When i listen at this masterpiece for some reasons i feel like i;m reliving memories from a far distant past!I'm turning 36 this month!I feel like i;ve known Nostalgia my whole life for some reason.. Goosebumps keep hiting me one after another for the whole duration of the song.Basicaly its a hymn if i may say!Many emotions pile up and explode while listening with my eyes closed and for some reason i feel my nose burning..When i open my eyes i see blury until i realise its because they are filled with tears.When you enjoy a song and you can't control images,actions and emotions,then you know it speaks truly in your heart and touches and clenses your soul! I discovered the beautiful music of Yanni when my daughter was in college at least 20 years ago. She listened to him as she studied for her masters . I now listen to help With anxiety. Saw him in concert Twice. Wow!!

Her services are on Thursday June 29th, 2023 and his music is soothing my soul!! I saw him once live in The Concert Event on my Birthday, 2-22-2005 in Atlanta. It was the very best Birthday gift that I ever received!!! I adore him and his music!! What would this world be without his music??

People..my friends included..made fun of this amazing singer by "Yawning" and saying "Yanni..Yawn" I always had to defend him. I kept telling them to listen to this song live. But they wouldn't and just laughed. Their loss. I saw him in Seattle, Wa in the late 90's. Of course, these friends just laughed at me so I went alone. Spectacular concert. My favorite song by him. Such a talented man. Goosebumps. I wonder if he is still recording. I hope so. Also..the violin player..she is so talented..

When i listen at this masterpiece for some reasons i feel like i;m reliving memories from a far distant past!I'm turning 36 this month!I feel like i;ve known Nostalgia my whole life for some reason..
Goosebumps keep hiting me one after another for the whole duration of the song.Basicaly its a hymn if i may say!Many emotions pile up and explode while listening with my eyes closed and for some reason i feel my nose burning..When i open my eyes i see blury until i realise its because they are filled with tears.When you enjoy a song and you can't control images,actions and emotions,then you know it speaks truly in your heart and touches and clenses your soul!
I feel blessed being borned on this era to listen at Yanni's masterpieces!Lots of love from Greece!

Her services are on Thursday June 29th, 2023 and his music is soothing my soul!! I saw him once live in The Concert Event on my Birthday, 2-22-2005 in Atlanta. It was the very best Birthday gift that I ever received!!! I adore him and his music!! What would this world be without his music??

People..my friends included..made fun of this amazing singer by "Yawning" and saying "Yanni..Yawn" I always had to defend him. I kept telling them to listen to this song live. But they wouldn't and just laughed. Their loss. I saw him in Seattle, Wa in the late 90's. Of course, these friends just laughed at me so I went alone. Spectacular concert. My favorite song by him. Such a talented man. Goosebumps. I wonder if he is still recording. I hope so. Also..the violin player..she is so talented..
