Issues with the audio? Please let me know! There is a small but consistent percentage of people that tell me they have issues with hearing me over SFX but I haven't been able to figure out the issue, on my end it sounds okay. I've retroactively lowered the volume for game sounds across the board, but unfortunately many of the clips I have (and a lot are shared in this video) were saved before making that change.

Thanks for checking out this video guys, it really means a lot. For now I'm going back to my roots, vids about having fun and the dumb shenanigans my friends and I get up to. This video took so long to make because I got myself a full-time job recently, so it's gonna be quite a bit harder to figure out how to make time for youtube stuff, but I guess that's just how it goes. Anyway, it was a pleasure making this video, and I hope you guys enjoy it as well

Glad to see you moving on. It may be difficult to abandon your main game, especially when it's the one you've been making videos on, but it's worth it in a long run

some games just have a lot more fun, casual appeal. I think this one definitely hit that pretty well
"how does such a big boom kill nothing" is why I use Eagle Airstrike over the 500kg. 500kg is just a precision orbital strike with prettier VFX.
I feel like they should have changed the actual description or name or something. Maybe some piercing strike, like those IRL ones for leveling buildings and other fortified structures
@@GeneralMcBadass You calling it a bunker buster? That could work although that wouldn't fixed the whole "it looks like a bigger blast than it actually is" problem. No-one would be happy if the VFX were made smaller and increasing the blast radius to match it might be a bit OP, especially as ship upgrades let you have 2 before rearming.
@@PlebNCgive em 1 charge instead of 2 and buff the radius considerably. Give it the ability do deal damage even if there is a small rock between the bomb and the receiving end
Fun fact: Sticking red strike beacons won't change where it lands (although the person is probably f**ked anyway because blast radius).
Blue beacons however, will. This is great for using supply/weapon pods/turrets to kill Chargers and such but it also means sticking to players is a death sense.
They also stick to personal shields.

@@GeneralMcBadass You can also use it intentionally with some coordination to guide a supply pod through a bile titan by having the teammate with beacon stuck to them run under a titan.
It's a bug though. They'll fix it someday
Holding “X” on PC will let you drop your shield on the ground so you don’t get squished if you’re fast enough. Not sure the button for it on controller though

Also: Your video on Payday 3 and its horrible greed was genuienly incredibly well made. As someone who watches a lot and looooves video essays you truly got the whole struckture down to a T and got a incredible voice for it! so if you enjoy making videos like that you honestly have a lot of talent in it!
thanks! this is definitely stress level 0 gameplay haha. yeah so a lot of people actually like those video essay type videos, but honestly I can't say they're that fun to make (or even watch, personally). I mean, I do appreciate the work that goes into them, but you need to really feel strongly about something to do that, and I'm normally not that kind of person. so I don't know, I don't see myself making a whole lot more of those, but you never know what the future holds

sticking a 500kg bomb to your teammates back is the equivalent to throwing a sticky grenade on your teammate in halo 3

There’s nothing better and sending a eagle air strike and then being launched by a charger into your own air strike.

I know it's different then what you have done with the previous games you were focused on. But it's good to see you having fun in a game again.

I think a great video idea could be a retrospective of Payday 2 going over the updates, meta history and why you stopped liking the game. I enjoyed your long Payday 3 videos that you made recently and think that format could get views.

for the most part I'm pretty boring and run vanilla/strong weapons and stratagems. but I do quite fancy EMS related stuff, pretty useful without having to worry about killing yourself or teammates

HellDivers did so many things everyone hates yet makes them work. It's an always online live service, it's a third person shooter when everyone hates third person shooters.
It has extremely lethal friendly fire and it is somehow the best part.

a consistent update schedule, lots of hotfixes in timely manners, and the base game feeling more or less complete kinda makes the rest of the issues less egregious

it's exactly the thing I imagine real helldivers to be feeling. the gloriousness of a strategem, only to realize the only things you killed were your teammates
this vedio made me sad for the fact i dont have anyone to play this game with great vedio tho
Yeah I'm gonna be honest, some games are fun alone, but I'd rarely play helldivers alone. it's way better with friends

How are we in a world where the framerate "going down to 80" is considered bad?
That's still buttery smooth and 35 more frames than the human eye can detect.
I think it's out of context. We don't know his specs and what settings he use, but I am sure his computer is likely able to do 144 frames+ for the most standard hz range on monitors these days.
@mokibomo basically this. it's not the easiest game for my rig to run, but I run consistent 144 on my 1440p 144hz monitor. it takes some serious optimization issues for most games to start chugging on my rig
