If Ryan Garcia was serious about boxing and life, Robert and his team would be a great fit together.
Of course Ryan has a chance. Vergil can be the biggest puncher, but it only takes a heavy handed shot from Ryan to the chin or temple to change everything. I've seen Virgil get stunned by Mean Machine. His chin is not invulnerable. Ryan's speed can make it happen. Virgil is smart, so I can see him adjusting to someone like Ryan. But Ryan is a wildcard-- unpredictable.

Virgil is basically what Masvidal was in the UFC. Both at their peaks huge talents but no one giving them their much deserved hype. Since the streetfights and first promos Masvidal was a straight beast, standing toe to toe with the very best and beating them eventually. Once Masvidal got that spotlight there was no turning back. Virgil Ortiz is the exact same thing but a boxing version. Vergil has TREMENDOUS talent and great fundamentals that of similar to Mikey Garcia, but in the case of Ortiz just much more of a VICIOUS fighter that goes to mess you up like Tyson would or Tank Davis. He has it all to become that exciting fighter that people actually want to pay money to watch unlike that pitty pat bullshit style that Haney and Shakur have. I truly wish 🙏 Ortiz gets his shot cause he can become one hell of an exciting fighter with that beautiful technical but aggressive high guard style.
