Blessed to have been there in April 2004 live at the Independence Stadium in Bakau with Joseph Hill and Culture, 11pm - 5am; 6 hours of nonstop music.and juggling And, when someone remarked : "Can't he take at least a 5 mins break?", one of his camera men there in the stands said: "You just don't know this man, he can go on and on for 9 hrs not stopping and not repeating any song." Then, he was already 55. This shows just how energetic he was too and how committed he was to the happiness of his fans.
Joseph was damn spritual @15.30-16.04 he was reciting the scriptures. Not even the gosple singers could do that.indeed he was a prophet. May his sweet soul rest in peace🙏
To me the late Mr. Joseph Hill was a role model to the whole Rastafarian family. This video particularly melts my heart whenever I watch and I always watch it more than ten times daily. I never get used to this video at all. Continue resting in peace my mentor.
People like him and Bob Marley has given us something that will never die till end of time. No matter how old their songs are when you play them they sound so new. Their messages will stay and guide us forever
Very true and well said. These reggae Legends of old have left us with memories that the living who love reggae will cherish for as long as they live. In today's current world apart from Luciano who is still singing there is no more reggae music we can be proud off!

No doubt Joseph Hills has touched millions of souls through his music. Love him so much. A Super legend that would be remembered, even by the yet unborn generations. Rest well Joseph Hills!. Love you till world without end.
Joseph "Culture" Hill recorded music for generations and generations to come. He is one of the finest ever. Unique touch and production. He shines forever. Rest, King. January 2022 and still learning.
The great Joseph "Culture" Hill, the legend, the immortal. I am fortunate that I had the pleasure of seeing him in performance more than once. great memories. Witnessing a Culture concert - at least in Jamaica -was an experience: Straight up roots reggae of the highest quality, no bullcrap, interspersed with some dry and perceptive witticisms about sundry issues delivered with a dead straight face, proverbial sayings, along with Bible quotations and then, always, back to the music.
Joseph Hill is such a legend. It’s 2022 and I’ve been listening to this from start to finish time and time again lately. You feel the vibrations through your entire body. He lives on through his music and continues to touch the hearts of millions of people across the globe. Powerful, spiritual and loving. This is the kind of music that heals the world one stream at a time. Jah bless! ❤️💛💚
He was taking the stage not for money or fame like today's artists, but he was standing there as a prophet of peace and universalism of all human race.
True. I agree with you 100%. I was only 10 when my father committed suicide. I cried, however, one day I was introduced by a friend to reggae music and it happened to be Mr. Joseph Aka Culture Hill. I listened until today. I have completed my difficulties and I walk talk always. Knowing that God is my light. Reggae music is alive in Zion. Today I have a Master Degree and with two handsome boys.
I was at that festival and also saw Culture performing. Joseph has such special spiritual voice. That weekend i saw Midnite for the first time on stage. That was also a very spiritual experience.
I can't come here without a leaving a comment here so that in the next 10 -35 years I can show my children and grandchildren what good music it was in my days and still counting..😍
i have cried a lot just listening to this great man today. i have spent more than two hours re-listening to him. God bless him wherever he is. i don't know why the tears down my cheeks. God really gifted us.
Saw the original trio several times in the 90's and every show was an unforgettable religious and spiritual experience. Joseph Hill (JRHS) was one of a kind; singer, songwriter, musician, poet, preacher, prophet and a humble man of God. I am blessed to have seen and heard this extraordinary man in the flesh.
