I recently purchased the DIY Plans and the Extra Accesories Plans as well and was hoping to see the plans for the Solar pannel that is offered when you buy the trailer outright, is this something that is expected to be added into the DIY Plans? Not sure how much actually changes for wiring throughout the trailer but I noticed it wasnt in this video either until the photos at the end.... Kinda bummed out about that one.
Thanks so much for these detailed videos. I have just one more part I am waiting for to get started on my WT frame. Quick question on the trailer wiring junction box. I was thinking of installing mine in my tongue box as well any reasons to not do that vs what you did in the video?
Couple reasons, and they are a matter of opinion/preference: 1. I attach the junction box in the trailer frame phase so we can prewire the running lights. 2. It reduces the amount of items in the tongue box. When you start adding solar, inverters, larger battery capacity, etc., it can get pretty tight working in the box.
I love it. I would like to own one of these teardrop campers. How much did you spend on materials? It looks like y’all put some first class labor into this also. How much could I buy one of these off y’all for?
Good info! Do you have any info on the port/gland and wire sheath on the front of the trailer and back side of the tongue box where the wires go through? That is a very nice piece of kit!
Yes, it is simply two 1" cable glands and about 6" of 3/4" flexible conduit. Flexible conduit can be found at most hardware stores. You just need to make sure it fits in the cable gland.
Great job 👏👏
Fascinating channel.

You guys do a really nice job. Lots of attention to detail. How long did it take you to get your production methods down?
They don’t answer viewers questions because the videos are their way of making money .
Very simple .
Love this!

@@WanderTears thanks!
Can a AC unit be added to this camper?
It can. It would require a bit more than a simple system like this but it can be done!
