Ted and Robin were ALWAYS meant to be together. Anyone who didn’t see that completely missed it. No disrespect to Barney or Tracey (I definitely cried when Tracey died), but how were Ted and Robin meant to end up with anyone else but each other? Anyway love this vid, another masterpiece!
Swarkles was adorable and match each other. I didn’t mind them hooking up in the show, but I also understood why they broke it off in the end. They’re both such independent individuals and they were both ambitious especially Robin. Although, Barney has changed, matured, and eventually settled down. When two similar people get together and love/care each as much as they both did. Sometimes LOVE isn’t always enough. Also, the fact that Robin was so iffy before getting married..it was kind of foreshadowing and impending break up in the future. They were lovely while they lasted though. BUT Ted and Robin = soulmates They were opposite of each other, but compliment each other really well too. They have a special connection which is why it kind of went full circle in their relationship in the end. Ted met his wife and had a happy marriage until she passed away. She would of want him to be happy and moved on eventually. Especially, with the history and connection he has with Robin. I know some HIMYM fans were disappointed with the abrupt ending or death of the “mother” and we didn’t really see too much of Ted and the “mother”’s relationship. But I mean the title of the show is called “HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER”. The keyword in all this is “MET, and they did show them meeting. So it made sense that the finale would be like that. They finally met, got married, had kids, enjoyed their life, and she sadly passed away.
