What a nice grandma. Thank you for spending the time talking to her patiently. A lot of elderly people go shopping, not only for food, but with the hopes that someone will take the time to socialize with them and stem the loneliness a little bit.

So true! I'm retired, disabled, have no car and live in a very small town. My dream is a small house in a neighborhood with families where I could sit on my porch and say "hi" to my neighbors. Fun to think of but it's a pipe dream.
If people would keep in mind, they will (hopefully) be elderly one day and think how they will want to be treated. It's so crazy how people disregard the elderly not even thinking they too will be elderly. Basically the golden rule.
Those 2 grandmothers asking about your family 😢 they were so lovely and their faces when you said she’s not your first but your 6th 😂
Violet may seem small to you still, but seeing her head up and looking around and her legs dangling out of the bottom of the carrier is so different and nice to see! Go Violet!

Me too but you can tell that sweet grandmas where really enjoying and truly interested in Violet. And after they hear their story that grandma face omg she was shaken but she shown so much peace and kindness 💕. I think that probably that big hearts is why Lauren opened up about Maggie and everything ♥️

Oh those sweet grannies , when you said your 6th you could’ve just about lifted her chin from the floor but her sweet heart when you spoke about Miss Maggie & Miss Violet you could see the love in the ladies eyes, just a simple touch to your arm and she understood completely, no big words needed just love & empathy ❤ Miss Violet is so beautiful and definitely loves being in her mama’s arms. I would love to be able to sit and have a baby sit on me the way Miss Violet does in her wrap, I just adore babies , being a granny to 4 and the eldest 14 and the youngest 6 it’s going to be a very long time before we get to hold a baby again in our family. Bennett is a wiz at doing the shopping with you although your cart ends up fuller 😂 and he is so comfortable behind & in front of the camera doing the hauls. Sending all our love from 🏴 Scotland. It’s definitely not warm enough in Scotland to warrant the need of air conditioning, we have it in the car which is good if you’re our driving on a warm day but not in our homes, I have a fan for hor days.

Hi Lauren It’s so thoughtful that Mark makes time to help juggle the grocery shopping. Violet is surely growing up each time and collecting lots of compliments along the way.
When you made mention of 12 Degrees C . That’s our winter temperatures we are in scarves jackets layers of warm clothing. It’s great to see that in other parts of the world it’s appreciated as acceptable. Bennet you did a great job describing the load of groceries.
Well, this Costco run was not as exciting as when one of the boys went and talked you into things you did not need. Lol
Oh my gosh....did u say 6.99 for strawberries? How many pounds in them? I just bought 2 lb strawberries for 3.96 at Sam's. I live in SC. Some of the prices r comparable to ours..
As a senior I really appreciate your patience with the grandmas. They care and are probably missing their own families a little. We love to spread the love. Patience like yours is hard to find these days. Us grannies have been replaced by google. Well Done Bennett👍🏼

Thank you for interacting with grandma. I'm a grandma also and I cant resist babies. My grands are 17 and 21. I am respectful about space.
I am just amazed about the prices. It seems so incredibly expensive. I can't do the conversion accurately in my head from Canadian dollars to English pounds. When I shop, I seldom buy anything that is over £4. The big salmon wellingtons are £4.50 (feeds 4), but other than that, I can't think of other products (fish, prawns, all vegetables, rice, etc). The bread over there makes my eyes water, even if I divide it by 2. But very interesting to see!

It was great seeing everyone this morning. Spring in Alaska, I hope it goes smoothly for you. Our weather is crazy. We have had rain almost daily foe 3 weeks. And just to top it off we got snow yesterday. And it is cold enough that it didn't melt. We sill have snow this morning. Hugs and Love from Manitoba

Those grandma's melted my heart and thank you for being so patient with them, my mom is 84 yrs old and she loves kids more and more as she ages, especially babies. 💗
I think of you every time I go to Costco. Raspberries were $2.59 at our Costco yesterday and strawberries $2.99 for 2lbs.

It’s fun to watch you shop. There are major differences in prices on some items. What stuck out to me today was the prices on the small watermelons. Here in Florida much bigger $5.99. You have the better weather now. I live on the east coast very close to central Florida. Last weekend 106 and hot!!! I would die without air conditioning. Also the older I get the colder I get so 60 is about all I can take before I stay in. Mountain biking in school sounds awesome. Stay safe boys. See you next video.

Even every 3 weeks is shockingly frequent for a trip to Costco! For most people it’s a 3 monthly thing
I don’t think that’s true for everyone. I live in South Florida🏝️🏝️. and I go once a week I do most of my shopping at Costcos and some at my local grocery stores since the prices are so high . In Alaska Costco has the best prices for families. Have you seen some of the other stores there ? They are so expensive Lauren has shown some of the other stores on her channel before, and my nephew lives in Alaska it’s crazy. 😊
Because grocery store prices are so much higher, I do 95% of my shopping at Costco. It typically means a weekly trip for a family our size so we can have lots of fresh stuff
