I love my bellman, I’ve had a couple over the years, in fact 20 years plus. Recently I’ve made a mallee spacer for frothing. About 100mm in diameter and 50-60mm high, this I sit on grill and then sit jug on top, frothing without the time consuming holding of jug.
We bought a Bellman Coffee Maker for Christmas 2022 as much to move away from pod coffee as have it for caravanning/camping/picnics. You are totally right that the Bellman takes quite a bit of finessing but this is because you are essentially producing café quality coffee using grounds and in any location. I wanted to add that I dipped into your channel during COVID and found your videos totally heartwarming on really sad days. It meant a lot to those of us unable to travel. I recognise some people’s response to difficult times is to lash out. It sounds like you’ve been on the receiving end of some of this. Please be aware that for every tortured soul trying to bring you down, there are dozens of us who greatly enjoyed your posts. Quite simply you reminded us just how gorgeous Australia is. And your nifty ideas and high quality building responses are helpful for whenever we get to travel. 2023?? I hope anyone with gripes listens to this Bellman video where you explain that you clean toilets for cheaper site fees and time to surf is worked around this obligation! Any product owners should look to the quality of your videos that represent value for money if they gift you their products. Your joyfulness is infectious - little joys such as lovely latte art, beach picnics and surfing. Keep it going. Cheers, Hovelites
What a unique coffee maker ! Love how excited you get. It's nice to have hand made pottery each piece is so personal. I have several pieces of hand made pottery which I love. Thanks for sharing your day and enjoy the week. Till next time 🌊
Hi Kendall and Glenn, Thanks for another great video. It is so good to see your fantastic setup and new coffee machine. The surf music was a good choice , Pink floyd could be a good choice to. (something to think about) lol All the best, stay safe and keep them coming. regards Peter
@@KendallandGlenn Whoops sorry guys, Re music, was only joking. Your Videos are perfect. One thing .....Do you ever wish for a 4x4 or is the VW perfect for your travels?
There is nothing more important than that first coffee in the morning, I’ve been practising but even if the borders were open the wife wouldn’t let the journey begin until I perfect it, I live by the saying,,happy wife, happy life,,😂 keep those vids coming guys, very inspirational 👍
Yay thanks for bringing us these videos guys! Cannot wait to get in my van when the borders open up but for now I'll be watching your channel religiously 😂 Love it.
Cool coffee maker! I have just a steamer that looks like it was made by the same company. I like the fact that yours has a gauge to help you know that you aren't going to blow it up. Will have to look into it. With the old setup I had, an italian espresso pot I had trouble with the gas stove melting the handle. Looks like your steamer/maker is a little wider at the base so it won't be an issue. Thanks again for another uplifting video!
Thanks Gary! Yeah I believe they make the steamer on it's own, and yes it is without the gauge. It definitely is great knowing if I'm going to blow up or not hahaha. Thankfully it does have quite a good base but if the flame is quite strong on the stove you can just move it slightly off centre but thankfully we haven't had much of an issue! Thanks for the comment :)
We just got one of these. Struggling to get a good coffee out of it. I didn’t get the tamper…regrets. I’m following the instructions but after seeing this vid I’ll try pull the coffee at a higher pressure. Cheers
Can you do a video all about parking over night places? I would love to park remotely and enjoy nature, but also just safety tips and legal tips for parking? I know this all varies from place to place. Love your guys’ channel!!
I have thought the same thing, but with the top off it would still take a little while, and then would make the pot itself super hot. haha. It would definitely speed it up a bit but I'm not sure whether it would really be worth it. Thanks so much Colby :)
When I saw Kendall‘s ig story of a very beautiful latte art, I had to comment and ask if that was Glenn‘s work 😅😅😅 Man. you definitely leveled up making coffee since you got that Bellman.
I’ve just recently found you guys, love your videos. I have been binge watching all morning. Can’t wait to get caught up. Do you put out videos on a certain day of the week? Let me know so I want miss one. Thanks Debbie from Alabama
Thanks so much Debbie! So glad to have you here! We’re trying to get our videos up every week, usually on Sunday or Monday evenings (so Saturday/Sunday your time) 😊
Yes guys!!! That belman is awesome and yes ure coffee snobs!!! But you know good coffee so nothing wrong with it, how much pressure does it give u for milk? Enough for 2 cups or 1 at a time??
hahaha Finally some closure! We are snobs! hahah. But yes, so so good! The pressure is great! Can get very high. The only restriction is that it's a bit harder to use a much larger jug to support enough milk for 2 serves. Usually the milk doesn't come out as well when we do it that way. That's why we got the smaller jug and do them individually. I don't need to wait for the pressure to build up though, I can pour the first one, then fill up and steam the second one straight after which is awesome :)
What level do you put the water in? 3-6-9? And how did you figure out the spurting out of coffee after one shot? And last question - did your coffee come out with creme? Thanks team 🌊
We put a full basket of coffee in, and fill it up to the 6 cup line. Then with some playing around we just found that the 1-1.5 bar of pressure is best for a solid stream of coffee. It will make a nice strong coffee for me, and a regular strength coffee for Kendall. And yes, it has a really nice crema which is oh so good!
@@KendallandGlennfound the same ratios work for me! Also taking it down to level 3 water and 6in the basket works well too! Makes about 1.5 shots per cup! I’m working on my milk steaming! Any tips? How much time do you steam for? Type of milk?
Hey guys, I have a Belman and am getting used to it. Wondering, what pressure to you build up to for using the steamer, after pouring coffee at around 1 bar? Cheers
Hope you like this one guys! Let us know if you have any questions about the new coffee set up :)
Morning coffee with a view like that?!...pff freaking heaven it is!
We sure are in a beautiful spot that's for sure!

I've been looking at that coffee maker, always thought it would be great for van life!
Yeah we met some friends up here who have one and they full convinced us! Such a good option for a good coffee on the road :)
I just watched this now deffs getting one of them for our trip next year.
You guys are so cool!!..Always enjoy watching your videos🤩✌🏼
Thanks a million Murray!
Glenn nailing the coffee art!! ☕️ loving it!!

You said about pre-boiling the water... Maybe you can heat it up in the base while you’re on the grind.. Just a thought 🤷♂️ Great video guys!!

Love it guys. Just got one myself and so far those same pressures are working for me also.
Great videos guys! Can't wait for the next one 😊
Thanks Shylee :)
Such a solid setup! Glenn seems to know his way around water chambers, grinding up, packing baskets, and good pulls ay?
Thanks Dan! He's certainly been getting some practice!
I think this comment went straight over there head 😂
Sweet coffee set up! We NEED a Bellman for our van now 👍

Yummm! You guys make me want to start drinking coffee ☕️ 🥰🥰
Looks delicious!💛
I'm learning coffee art with my Cafe he is 10 x better than me 😂 what a set up!
Hey guys, what is that surf spot in the background called? Cheers guys
Hi Jarrod! It's just Hunter's beach :)
After you brew, does the steam mix woth coffee??
It legitimately is identical to a cafe quality coffee.
Awesome 😁👍👍
New follower, it’s great to see this Bellman in use I always wanted to know how they work. What beans do you use?
Thanks Katherine, so glad to have you here! Lately we’ve been using Blend 2 from Karvan Roasters (Perth-based) and have loved it! 😊

I’m working on my milk steaming! Any tips? How much time do you steam for? Type of milk?
Does the coffee taste better than out of the Moca pot, or is the main advantage the ability to steam milk? And thanks for the review.
Hey guys great video! As someone who just got a bellman, where did you find the tamper with the hole? Thanks and happy travels!
What cups are those?? 😍
They’re from Liquorice Moon Studios 🥰
Hey guys, I have a Belman and am getting used to it. Wondering, what pressure to you build up to for using the steamer, after pouring coffee at around 1 bar? Cheers
Once you buy a Bellman you instantly become a member of the coffee snobs. Speaking for experience. Lol 😂
Don’t feel guilty. My husband and I travelled the entire time.
I’m so bummed I just bought the bellman steamer without realizing they have this combo😟…I may do an exchange
Oh yes definitely see if you can exchange! Fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏼
Why does glenn look hella stoned or crying in first scene 🤣 love the vids guys
hahahaha early morning coffees mean stoned eyes and bed hair! hahaah Thanks mate!
😍😍😍😍😍😍
Do these people take showers?
You can get a battery powered grinder for like $20 bucks. lol
what makes you think we want a battery powered grinder?
No milk for me. Plain esprsso
To much milk. You lost me there.
