I have to agree, the carbonised figures do look pretty good, especially the boxed Boba Fett. Even the packaging looks pretty cool. I could be tempted by that one at least. Fantastic vintage Kenner Bounty Hunter collection, now they do look cool.
Totally agree with you. That Carbonized Fett and Paz Villa look great. I had the carbonized armourer, moff Gideon, shoretrooper and I cant remember the other one in that wave. I thought that they were quite nice myself personally. Great video as always 👍
Very nice figures, I love them!! As far as the Black Series reissues they were completely reproduced due to popular demand. It was an easy money grab for Hasbro and a great way to get these figures at retail vs paying triple in the secondary market.
Thank you! Interesting they did all those Black Series reissue figures as completely reproduced, I would've thought they would do them as Archive but definitely glad they went with the original packaging. Thanks for watching!
Fun video! I like those Warhol Skittles figures, including the Mando. Not a fan of carbonized but can’t argue with those choices. I have one credit collection fig: s1 Mando. He looks sweet on the card w the relevant artwork. Big fan of CZ3. Great pick up. Similar droid wandering around Mos Eisley as well. Cheers!
Rock On Brett! 🤟🤩 I really do love these Hyperdrive videos! It’s really a perfect format. Great list, you truly understood the assignment and made a top 5 of terrible figures. Still, I’m glad you shared what you like. We all like things that others believe are crap. However, the carbonized Fett is a terrific action figure. You have an excellent example in your collection. Thanks for another fantastic video.
Wow! Those graded Kenner bounty hunters 🤤 Amazing! I agree the Cara Dune carbonised is great looking. I don’t collect Black series but the packaging does look great on the credit collection. 👌👌👍
I am right there with you on all those choices! I love most of the Carbonized stuff (I also have that Boba), and I also collected most of the Credit Collection figures which I think look amazing. I was sad to see they didn't put out any more in that packaging, as you pointed out the backs are fantastic. I'll have to look up clear boxes that fit the Credit Collection stuff...
The only faux prototype figure I liked was the Luke Skywalker Snowspeeder Pilot figure. I think the notion of fake prototypes is dumb, but with the pilot figure I was able to use the boil & pop method to take them all apart, and then reassemble them so that they're all the same color. Now they're perfect for customizing into different pilots. All they need is a new head and a bit of paint.
So would these figures be worth much in years to come I thought mass produced figures wouldn’t be worth as much as they where like with the OG Star Wars stuff of the 80s and 90s?
That Paz is one of my favorites as well!! I thought I was the only one 😊
@@artofficialjoe lol awesome. Carbonized Paz fans unite! Thanks for watching!

CZ-4 is a pretty cool droid. I have him laying in Jabba's dungeon near EV-9D9's torture chamber. Would easily go outside the Cantina too.

Yeah definitely a novelty item.
