There's nothing better in the world than a descent through the final dying light of the evening. I had to leave California, but these videos remind me of how spectacular it is out there. Peace, love, and speed to all of you from Devon, England
@@HurditHere Tons of gravel on Dartmoor if that's your thing. My favorite road climb is Haytor Vale, but instead of going up the main road from Bovey Tracey, go to Becky Falls then curve along the hillside. Bellever Forest to Moretonhampstead is also nice if you want to add that on to the same day
In Ireland, we have nothing remotely similar to the landscapes you get to bomb down Safa. Continuous slopes that go on for so long that to the camera they look flat. Just brilliant. Excellent camera work by Alex as usual.
@@forsnowboard “boring” lmao. California has insane roads for cycling. Not the most bike friendly but def not boring. And it doesn’t rain 150 days a year.
Being from Miami, I only know flat in the city, the beach, some stretches of, rural areas with nice parks. But in my opinion there would be nothing cycling through majestic mountains, seeing beautiful green grass for miles on each side, or desert for that matter. No manhole drains, potholes, glass shards, hell...there's no people! You can riiide! Miles would go by so quickly I bet.
@@stormmccree8238 Yea the pain of going up the climb makes the descent even better. Knowing that you put out the power to store the energy to fling you down the descent is so satisfying.
I'm getting my first bike in a few weeks and although I'm a boot to this culture - this reminds me of the playful and creative scenes of surfing and skating back in the day. Like back in the Z Boy days of skating and guys like Larry Bertlemann who were pioneers in creating style in surfing. Maybe I'm just ignorant to what's out there in cycling but man seeing you smiling at the camera bombing down this road at 50+mph in this quirky but cool as hell position reminds me of all that. Although your skills are top tier its also emphasizing the joy this can bring and im excited to dive into this scene! Cheers everyone!
Both the subject and the cameraman have serious handling skills. And balls of steel to pull those stunts at speed. Welcome to the cycling brotherhood! Keep the rubber side down and it's one of the best things in life.
Thought the same. I’m sure he’d admit that this is all about the scenery. Cycling fast downhill and sticking an arm out occasionally isn’t very gripping on its own lbh
@@eldente What you mean is color correction my friend. LUTS are used to set specific mood, enhanced a set design and sometimes to recreate a look of a certain time of the day.
lol i remember 32 years ago when you started the descent diciple serie. you where wearing baggy short and a t-shirt, glad to see you join the spandex crew. go fast brah and enjoy yourself
i recently crashed my motorcycle going about 100kmh and slid very far with lots of kevlar gear on. my road rash was brutal in the places that didnt have pads/kevlar. most notably my knees were chewed up and road rashed good. I see soooooo much skin distortion on your knees telling me you have been down a few times going fast. any plans on getting pads or like full length suits or something? such a sick video btw new fan!
I've gone around 55mph before and I can say it is scary as shit. Back then the tires were 23s so at least now you have more grip on the road, but still, that is way too fast for me.
This is incredible for a number of reasons. The speed, the landscape, the way it's shot, and the sound are just perfect.
🙏
Mumbo Jumbo is a cyclist ??
damn I didn't know you watch cycling stuff!
Woah! I never imagined I'd see a minecraft youtuber here haha. Love your videos.
never ever thought I would see a Mumbo Jumbo / SAFA mix.. love it.
Cycling on the open road, nothing feels more liberating.

Best rides in Devon? I’m gonna try the puffing billy in Dartmoor soon

You're a maniac if you prefer these beautiful but boring roads rather than what you have in your country

The best advertisement for Scott addict gravel
I'm impressed by the speed and your confidence. I've never went that fast with my bike, even though there's a Motor attached.
one just cant help but smile on descents like these
This is the most insane combination of skill, bike, landscape, sound and speed
"slow down, jesus!" Great video as always Safa! Such an inspiration
Thank you!
The video looks like a movie... Nature and the colors were all ❤️
That must be such a zen moment. Just you, the road and the wind.
the only problem I have with fast descents like this is the fact that you have to climb up the bloody thing either before or after the fun bit.
Not when you have your own personal motorbike/ camera man
The climbing is just as fun with these views.
The descent is the reward for the effort one puts into a climb. Nothing feels better than getting that treat at the end.

Absolutely mind-blowing landscape!!
these type of scenery are so beautiful !

Today, I bought Scott Gravel 😍 wow.. this video
A Safa Brian video with a cup of coffee in the morning is satisfying
Your bicycle handling skills are phenomenal.
nice sound and landscape!!
Safa, brilliant! But, thumbs up for the camera guy! Awesome footage!
Dear Internet, Please make this a meme: 1:12
Hell, man, damn fast, you don't even rode, it was hell of a flight!
I don’t even have to questions SAFAs content. Every video is an instant like.
⚡️🔥🎉
Absolutely stunning filming and your style is fire brother Safa. “Safa the Shredder”
That's one of the best climbs and descents and RTs in the States. 5 Stars.
I do love your videos. Keep them. Coming🤙
It's is absolutely fantastic sounds and the speed is crazy well done mate keep rideing fast
SAFA: doing crazy speed and stunts

what kind of LUT are you using for color grading? looks perfect with this scenery..
He understands light my friend SAFA always records on the most beautiful time of the day where the light is soft and the colors pop.
@@dorkysaur there's still a grade I'm sure lol definitely not shooting flat
Shot in LOG on a Sony a7siii. Graded this myself.

Sick! Keep it rubber side down SAFA. I'm off out on my bike now...
Very FANTASTIC!
The view 😍😍😍
This is a dream 😌😌
Beautiful.
I feel like there should be a drop seat that goes into "super tuck" position. Good job! Awesome as always.
Dropper post?
Subtle descent love it
beautiful bike
Speed and NO threatening cars😊👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😊😊😀
Man you are an inspiration.... wow...
Absolutely incredible dude...
The scenery view .. i am so jealous.. i want to ride in that place too
Oh you might want to talk to Scott and have them make their bike dropper post compatible. You know you want one🤙
best cycling video ever

I wish my country had roads that were as empty like this
this is so cool.
Great video
have fun, and keep safe

That hop about 30 seconds in.....you missed the perfect opportunity to clip in the Mario jump sound.
and that kids is the importance of aerodynamics
hey - both hands! that wave was dangerous!
Very nice
That's scary fast

USA highway be like your going to fast 😂
I do the super tuck wlth aerobars in the aero bar position can get up some speed
this is fucking beautiful Safa
Nice bike
toooooo fasssssssssttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!! this is amazing!! I get amped when I hit 30mph on a hill!
What is the cameraman riding? It's really good to shoot cleanly without the engine sound so that i can focus on the bike and the scenery!
As fast as 🏍️motorcycles! All the way down the hill🚴😃
Play the video in 2x speed.
Damn he's fast
Safa Brian: Between 70-90
Me:30-50
important info: The slope may have an effect, but I don't think it will change anything...
max:60-70
made it to 50kph today and felt like a bullet, here comes safa to remind me who is king

@7:07 when he hits the cone with the back wheel~ SPECTACULAR! I actually thought he wanted to go in-between the cones and the speed sign haha

Aren't you supposed to ride the supertuck with horizontal cranks in order to get the most aero shape?
I would love to know your go pro settings and if you use any special lense, your picture looks so damn good.

That bike gang af
I want Lizzo to ride that beautiful carbon bike, downhill of course.
