- After filming the main run down from the top of Onion Valley we went part way back up to have one more run in the last of the day's light. The temperature had finally dipped below 100, the mountains in front and behind loomed large over what seemed like an empty world. What a setting! On roads like these there is plenty of time to stay low at high speed so I had some fun messing around with different aero positions.

This is incredible for a number of reasons. The speed, the landscape, the way it's shot, and the sound are just perfect.
Cycling on the open road, nothing feels more liberating.

In Ireland, we have nothing remotely similar to the landscapes you get to bomb down Safa. Continuous slopes that go on for so long that to the camera they look flat. Just brilliant. Excellent camera work by Alex as usual.
