  • Welcome to LivingPianos.com. I'm Robert Estrin, and today I am excited to share one of my favorite pieces to teach: "The Farewell" by Burgmuller. This piece is part of a collection I have previously covered in detail. You can find the links in the video description if you want to explore more of Burgmuller's works.

Thanks a lot Robert, It’s just what I needed to improve this piece and learn from my mistakes.

If I live that long, I'll be back in 10 years to try this!

Wonderful! The pianos action needs tho be in nearly perfectly regulated to do it best.

    What about the pedaling?

This piece doesn't require the pedal. However, the longer notes can be enhanced by short dashes of pedal.
