Hold on. In England if you drove with a full tank its more than £137.50. Dont forget to add the costs of Portuguese Scutts/motorway. All very good video but add also the costs of Diesel/Petrol and if sleeping in Airbnb not inside the car. I drove this summer with a BMW520d and 2 dogs and the costs were high but worth it. I did drive from West Midlands and the full 1st tank was over £110, Eurotunnel return was over £400 to pay with £80 for both dogs. Papers for dogs were £500
Thank you for your comment. If you watched the video carefully you will see that I'm saying that we paid £137.50 for tickets and I'm saying that they are One Way Only. But if you book way in advance you can get for like £150 both ways as well. Regarding motorways in Portugal you need to pay for them as well if you use them. I didn't need to use them that is why I didn't include them in the video. As well as you could see on one of the videos, we slept inside the car so we didn't need any Airbnb. For petrol we spend only €100 as our car is only 1.4 and is very economic, and I'm assuming that yours is probably around 2.0 so of course you will need to put way more petrol then us. Regarding pets, we don't have any so we don't know huw much it might cost to take them with you. Thank you for your information on that, as I'm sure some people will find that useful 👍 Yes in London we put petrol for £60 to make sure that is full before the journey. So all the costs in UK 🇬🇧 will be £197.50 Inc. Petrol ⛽ That was our experience of travelling to Portugal 🇵🇹 as I said all costs may vary depending on your car, when you book the tickets etc. But it's definitely worth it and an amazing experience 🙂
