I don't think Liparteliani can win Wolf, Wolf had also beaten him to win the World title before too in 2017.

Wolf was by far the best today . He outclassed all the others . The only close to him was the Korean, he gave him a hard time. I will like also congratulate the German guy, he has a wonderful day

There was a point in regular period about minute and 25 seconds left, the Korean had Wolf in trouble with stranglehold starting to take place but Ref called matte. Wolf's lapel was underneath on his neck, the Ref gotta allow newaza to continue. Wolf got bailed out by Ref. Japanese Judokas are the best, but they received some heavy favoritism during these Tokyo Olympics.

@@nomomania6827 Actually opposite. Especially in the final, the Korean guy got more advantage from the judge. He was passive all the time, kept repeating ground seoinage (=attack and run) to the extent he couldn't have eaily lost with 3 x shido but didn't. Maybe that was better off because then Wolf was able to get the clear ippon with that osoto-gari, despite he was already winning before that. The true fact is the Korean guy made it 'look' like it was a nice fight but Wolf was dominating that final match all the way.

Woah, you're just writing off Cho Guham like that? I think Cho's much more likely to beat Kukolj than the other way round.

I think Fonseca will pull the first gold medal for Portugal.
He has really strong osoto, sode, ippon.
Very explosive for this weight category and won last 2 world champs, hes full confidence!
