Blue notes Are phenomenal-back then the Gentlemen really dress fine.You don’t find too many gentleman dressing up any more. I miss the good all days. Everyone went out they had a good time they was safe it was not as Shootin like it is today. The guy singing lead ( Harold Melvin ) was always the Leader of the group and sang most of the time , even when Teddy came aboard for a short period. A lot of the lead vocals that some folks assumed was Teddy had actually been Harold . Even when Teddy was in the group , the name of the group was " Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes ft. Teddy Pendergrass " . They were friends from Philly and had matching Vocal range's . Teddy was the Bomb when He pursued His Solo career .

The other group, that I know about, is called "Harold Melvin's Blue Notes". I learned about another group called "The Blue Note Review". Met the leader of this group once a few years ago. Not an original but supposedly toured with them at some point. This concludes what little knowledge I have about "The Blue Notes". More info about them would be greatly appreciated. Thanx guys.
Harold Melvin was the original and Teddy Pendergrass sound and looked similar. Harold was as good as they get. Teddy filled his shoes, however know way did nor could he surpass Harold Melvin.
