Hi there! Same guy, different account. That is so true! There's so much variation in accents, loanwords and habits between different parts of Indonesia! The word "Gue/Lo", for instance, has roots from Hokkien in Fujian 😃 One tip to sound more like a young Indonesian: lose the prefix and add -in at the end (memikirkan -> mikirin - root word is "pikir"). I am a language major and I also know a little bit more than the average person about card magic / manipulation. I genuinely expected some corny newbie tricks and yet that korean guy was legit. That was so good and his cheery personality etc added to it making me smile.
I thought my native language is one of the hardest. Changed my mind hearing you and all people you meet talking in Asian languages. There's nothing more hard than Asian languages. I know what I'm saying, I'm Polish.

It’s honestly wild to watch that they’re so impressed and shocked to see someone speaking all of these languages when they can actually speak them all too.
It’s crazy when a westerner does it because in other countries, kids are required to learn English to a pretty high level so speaking at least two languages is pretty expected. Here in Canada, we only have to learn French until like high school so most Canadians can’t even speak a second language. The Uzbek girl speaking Korean is really cool tho

Russian is our second language not the most learned. That's why Russian is compulsory in school. English and Korean are the most learned languages in Uzbekistan. BTW I'm from Uzbekistan as well
