Recently, I am a waiter in a local restaurant and most customers are forein travellers. So many times I was confused by their politeness and how friendly they are! They always say thanks to everything I did for them (5 times at least)
Hello, Elliott! When i was in US, i came into the vitamins shop. I needed to buy some complex vitamins hair/nails/skin. I was served by an elderly female salesman. She looked like a character from a movie: curly gray transparent hair, a squeaky voice, shaking hands. Pretty cute at the first glance. I was trying to explain her what I need during several minutes. I was using gesticulation, was changing synonyms e.c… Even my husband, who was observing that situation started to chuckle. Finally, the other salesman saved that situation. He gave me an unambiguous look, that his colleague often behave such way. And hinted, that it was because she didn’t like my wrong pronunciation the ward ‘hair’.
You’re the best English teacher by far, I think everybody can understand you clearly I have seen lots of channel about Learning english no-one not like you...

Hi, I am Taiwan, and I quite enjoy your videos! One thing that I want to say is about the "sorry." In where I am from, we always say "不好意思" (similar to sorry) in many situations when we need to start a new conversation with a stranger, for example, in a shop when we need help from clerks. It's interesting to see how we have this use of language in common!
i learn every day from your videos since i found them on youtube a month ago . that improves my listening and pronunciation a lot. thank you very much indeed!
It was a really interesting lesson! I love english more and more! For me a day without english is a nightmare! British accent is marvellous! Thanks for your videos. 😉😊

I do love all the "sorrys" "excuse mes" and etc of English language and the "cheers" is just so charming haha I loved hearing it in NZ and in the UK. Btw, Brit Engl is the best
Thanks for your help, Elliot. Next time when I go shopping, i will ask the salesperson to offer any discount if i buy more than one. Cheers, have a lovely day.
Thank you so much for this video! Pleace, make another one with this topic. It's very important part of life. And it would be nice, if you made another one about caffe tallk, or something like that.
Hi Elliott! Thank you for another useful video!👏👏 Very interesting lesson 👍 I don't like going shopping very much, I always end up buying things I don't need. Typically, "I may need it later", then that "later" never comes 😀 Salesmen have the power to convince me so easily! 🤔 I could never be a salesman, I'd hate to convince somebody to buy something 😀 Have a nice week!
An awkward situation ... ? Yes. Once I was looking for a shirt in a shop and the seller thought I had stolen one....He got me nearly naked to discover I hadn´t anything hidden under my clothes..
Hi Elliot, Currently I am living in Australia (This is my first month here) and I have had problems when I want to buy food because I don't understand what the seller said me. For example, they have told me if I need packages or if I need a copy of my buy ticket . Maybe you could make a video about the most common thinks that the sellers said in a store. Thanks for help us to improve our english! :P Have a nice day!
How to pronounciate similar pronunciation of different words like warn versus worn Please make a next video on pronounciation Thanks for your help especially for new proverbs of shopping
