It more than just the avionics and radar. The plane is modern in its construction and engineering. Meaning a modern engine, flight control, surfaces and metallurgy. There is NO way an aircraft from the 1930's or 1940's is EVER going to compete with it. Performance, reliability, safety for the crew and protection for the airplane. Also ordinance and firepower. Not a chance... So what if they may be faster. Speed isn't what this plane was designed for.

US soldiers tend to be inside secure bases, when they're not they'll receive fighter jets if they run into trouble. I'm fairly certain you wouldn't get killed in Chicago if you were inside a secure fortress there, supported by A-10s.
Awesome footage!
The Skyraider and Trojan played the same roll in Vietnam and the A-29 does here in Afgh. All three prop jobs. Ditto for the Pucara used by Argentina during the Falklands / Malvinas War in 1982.
Love 💚 that Super Tucano 👍

I'm very impressed. Their must be nothing more patriotically inspiring then seeing your own government's planes in the air, instead of a foreign countries.
In my book this is not "In action". It's a collection of RUclips-videos and they're all doing training runs.
Great video maxed the volume!
Tenho orgulho do nosso A-29 super tucano
What a lot of people probably don't know. Planes like these can take on modern stealth fighters since they have very low radar signature.
The Royal Air Force use it as an advanced trainer. Prop planes make sense for the Afghans.
I believe that the Royal Air Force used to operate the Short Tucano, a licensed version of the trainer version, the original Tucano, the same that l'Armèe d l'Aire had. These of the Afghan Air Force are the Super Tucano. No european country operates the Super Tucano I guess
@@filipeprestes3754 Super Tucanos has a longer fuselage, cockpit armor, wing root machineguns, laser designator, flir turret.
love that fly over sound
I've seen Tucanos and Broncos from the Venezuelan Air Force flying together, great sight.
The Super Tucano reminds me of the WW2 fighters, but with more powerful turboprop engine. Awesome CAS aircraft.
Classic airplane, beautiful, nostalgic.
Tucanos look fucking sick
Parece aviões da segunda guerra, muito lindo. Vídeo show!
junkers ju 87: jericho trumpet for intimidation
A-29 Super Tucanos: 4:16
The most beautiful sound i ever heard, it's so imponent
@l p Me too, the sound of imminent death.
Wow thats amazing 😱👍👏😁 respect from Indonesia 👍👏😁
that sound of turboprop engine!
It has a maximum speed of 590 km per hour (367 mph) and a flight ceiling of 35,000 feet (6.6 miles). The Super Tucano costs more than $10 million each and the price can go much higher depending on the configuration. It is powered by a Pratt & Whitney (UTX.N) Canada PT 6 engine. (Reuters)
The A-29 almost reminds me of the P-51 in wwll in a way . ^_^
🇧🇷 Simplesmente Espetacular!!
What a great air force compliment 'Little Bird' and the A-29 make, esp when the enemy has no counter air force, (in a positive viewpoint). The A-29 flies like a bird and stings like a bee. The low noise, surprise, high volume attack capabilities is excellent. Fuck them Taliban up with this little beauty.
Crank it up! Great sound. Beautiful air craft
Brazil!!!!
Fred Harris --- nope, its not !!
Beast 10 ???? It's from Brazuca...
BRASIL
The Tucano is an exceptional High performance trainer.. The A 10 would simply watch, and then simply dispatch to the sand.
Brasil !! Supertucanos
