Our sweet duck Duikertje (Diver) passed away. We don't know why. She seemed very healthy, active and happy. Toupet the man is very sad now and we are looking everywhere for new friends for him of his own kind to cheer him up. It is difficult because at the moment these ducks are very popular. We're giving him extra attention now.

Eveline is like the non-saccharine version of a Disney princess, surrounded by animals and family, her gentle and loving energy affecting all those around her.
@@Lucysmom26 Wholesome would be a better term for it 😅, but ye I get what you meean - Disney movies animal talking princesses always come across as overdone and fake.
This seems like the real way to go about socialising many different animals.
Another great channel is SaveAFox - Mikaela cares for so many animals there, albeit most do not directly interact with each other, just the carers.
I'm so sorry Eveline! 💔 I work at an animal hospital, and so often by the time birds show ANY symptoms of being ill, their condition is serious. And sometimes they just pass suddenly altogether. Avian flu has also been causing lots of problems for us in the U.S.
My heart is with your family (including fur & feather babies!) as you ALL mourn your losses & changes. ❤️

Oh Eveline, I am sorry to hear about Duikertje’s passing. Seeing her lone egg and her companion looking for her is simply devastating😭 This is a terrible dilemma we pet owners face. It's always sad when an animal companion dies - even when it's not a mating partner.
My grans older labrador Toby died after years of ill health and his healthy younger cousin Digby died soon after for no reason we could find but sadness at his loss ☹

Haha puppy Coco played with her life. When they get tired of her, they bite. From experience I can say that it hurts, they grab your skin and turn it around 😂😅.
