    Scenery is stunningly realistic! Awesome job! :-)

    Great job, John. This is the best video of the club that I've seen in the last 35 years. The tight frames make a huge difference. It puts the viewer in the scenes.

      Thanks Steve. It helps to have a small camera that can get into some of these tight spots. I personally love the shot high above Stuart/Mikesville with the cow pen in the foreground since it's an angle no one ever really sees of the layout.

    Beautiful layout and excellent videography - thank you. I couldn't get a sense of the shape of the layout, so I went to the NSMRC link to look at a schematic. Thanks for including that.

      Your welcome. The layout measures about 95ft x 30ft and is one of the largest permanent club layouts in New England.

    WOW - more close ups _ i wonder what the layout looks like from the point of view of a real human being in the room - i would love to see the whole layout

      I can certainly consider that idea for another video.

    How did you get all them train engens to run all together like that

    • @TKDMaster20114
      @TKDMaster20114  Год назад +1

      Alot of the locomotives used share the same DCC address. So when you imput the one address, all the units come on. They are also all speed matched together so they don't bump around.

    How you get engine to work backwards ?

    • @TKDMaster20114
      @TKDMaster20114  Год назад +1

      You can change the configuration of the locomotives by setting up how the DCC decoder installed in the locomotive recognizes the direction of the locomotive. The DCC decoder is like a little computer chip that tells the locomotive what to do.

    Beautiful scenery and layout, but man some of those locomotives volume needs to be turned down. WAY too loud, as it takes away from the effect. Thanks for the video!

    A N&W freight consisting of all N&W & Virginian boxcars I would imagine to be very unlikely.🤨

      The owner of that train usually runs a much larger N&W coal drag with helpers, but didn't want to pull it all out that day. If you want to see more of his equipment check out his youtube channel NorfKhazad.

      Not "unlikely" on that day!! I saw it with my own two eyes. So, so cool too!!!
