Hiking Experience: Black Forest, Germany

So here’s my first Hiking Experience vid!
This footage has been shot on my most recent hike through the German Black Forest (Schwarzwald). I’m hiking “the Westweg” with a good friend of mine and this time I started from Forbach and ended (with a little detour because of the public transport) in Freudenstadt.
It was an absolutely fantastic hike with lots of lush greenery and epic views from the tops of the forest.
With these hiking experience video’s I try to share some of the magic with you that I experience when I’m out there. And I hope to inspire some people to just put their shoes on and walk the same route, you won’t be disappointed!

where did you sleep? I am planning for a 3 day trip starting from forbach aswell but wild camping is not allowed.

Hi Lars, I slept in the huts (hütte) which are scattered all across the black forest. It's legal to sleep there for one night. You do have to search for them by hand on the map once you know which trail you are going to hike.

I'm using the DJI Mini 3 Pro drone (it's superlight weight and packs up really small in my backpack).
