Great video Jess! Would love to see a similar video on your loungewear. Since I started trying to live more simply I spend a lot more time at home and I really notice that loungewear can affect how I feel about myself. Would love to see how you dress to still feel nice at home even when wearing loungewear.

I really enjoyed this video. You look happy and calm and that so goes with your mellow wardrobe and pale home colors and even your sweet pup. You radiate. I do love your selections and color palette. For your everyday purse/bag do you wear it as a backpack? Do you stay warm enough year-round with your delicate silks? Pray you enjoy a beautiful spring...it's about time we have some loveliness. Oh thank you! Yeah I'd say my backpack is what I use day to day and then my little one usually comes out for special occasions or if I just don't want to take much with me. Definitely stay warm enough xx

I absolutely adore your color palette! I wish I could do something like this - I always want to but then when it comes to purchasing a new shirt, dress, etc. I fall in love with some random bright color and sabotage myself. Happens every time. I love your style!
Have you done the vision board exercise for style? Be interesting to see what comes up. Though sometimes I think what we like on others just isn’t what we like on ourselves. I love Carrie Bradshaw’ as style but I’d never buy it for myself
I want to see the horse wardrobe. :) I always run into the issue of everything becomes part of the horse uniform after a bit lol
Enjoyed the video - and now I have a word for why, even in L.A., I'm often to be found (yes, even now, in the spring) wearing long sleeves, puffer vests, sweaters, hats, and scarves - I'm "nesh"!

Yay, this is the video I’ve been longing for 😍 Beautiful wardrobe! I always get so inspired when I watch your videos (or read your books) but then I have a hard time adjusting it to my lifestyle. I live in the city (Stockholm) and work in an office, while being a parent to small children 😅 So I have a hard time nailing what pieces works for my lifestyle. Maybe two capsules would be an approach to try… Anyways, thanks for the lovely video as always🌟
The ebook really helps you clarify your wardrobe. She literally does it step by step for you as an individual! It helped me!

sounds like it's full on for you. I'd say you've got two options and it's probably a good idea to experiment with both to see which works best. The lifestyle analysis in the ebook is going to help you A LOT in terms of how much you should own for what so definitely take some time to complete that as accurately as possible. Separate capsules can work really well and I use this for hobbies and loungewear but I ensure they all follow the same colour palette and keywords so they can be mixed and matched if necessary. This isn't a requirement but it gives more flexibility and choice. If that feels unnecessary then by all means lump everything together but use the lifestyle pie chart to determine the ratios. In terms of actual items, your vision board should give plenty of inspiration for this. Lastly, try to journal a little each day asking yourself the questions what did I wear today and how did it make me feel? Then ask yourself what do I wish I'd worn instead? Love your style, love Hope helping with the shoes, hoping for an extra walk maybe seeing the shoes and coats come out! I have this week finally finished decluttering my wardrobe, well overdue. Such a good feeling, and wardrobes are always evolving I feel whether due to age, style, dreaded sizing issues of differing companies and I now appear to have lost two inches off my leg length 🤷♀️ can’t afford for that to happen, I’m vertically challenged as it is. I guess the size of wardrobe may also correlate to the size of one’s ironing basket too? 😂

Your wardrobe is really beautiful, I can see the colour palette suits you and your overall style. I have a Stella McCartney wool jumper and it has impeccable quality! Better than anything I have seen. But how can you manage with just two bags?! Or just one really as the other one is a backbag. Did you have more before?

Are you from the East Midlands? I think ‘nesh’ is an E-Mids saying! You come across as such a gentle, kind soul. I could listen to you all day! I just wish I could control my spending habit and have a minimal wardrobe, like you. The only joy I seem to have in life, now I’m disabled, can’t work and rarely get to interact with other people so quite lonely is buying clothes on the internet. I have managed to de-escalate onto only buying from Vinted, so very bargainous but my poor wardrobe is groaning under the weight! 😕 I must try harder!! xx

eeeeeeeeeek I wrestle with this so much and I'd love to hear anyone else's opinion on it. I think it's a very grey area from what I've read and there's no way to make a blanket statement either way. It all depends on the manufacturing methods, the longevity of the product and how it can be repurposed

I am confused.Your opening has a fabric headboard, but in the closet tour, I see a metal footboard. How do you wear the Free People Love of My Life dress when it does not come in Petite? I am 5'1" and if clothes are not designed for a petite frame, they just do not work for me. Everything is off.
oh no! I find this dress to be absolutely fine on me, if not a little oversized but I could have them tailored if I wanted. The j brand jeans aren't petite either, just cropped - but I feel your frustration, I just try and make the best of it I think
