I've thought a lot about this in connection to human consciousness. Is human consciousness algorithmic, or is our consciousness (or at least certain features of it) somehow non-algorithmic and that could explain how humans are the way they are? I'm really interested in the ORCH theory of consciousness by Roger Penrose and Stuart Hameroff which explains that human awareness may not be completely algorithmic. They think that human consciousness must be quantum mechanical at certain levels, rather than completely classically mechanical. I agree with their assessment more, but we'll see what science in the future holds. Apparently though, there is a microtubule in the human brain that can support quantum mechanical effects, but whether our consciousness is reduced to quantum mechanical processes is still unknown from what I understand.
Good effort bro 👌 mad video
