I think that of you have the oportunity to have a gibson you will got it by the quality of the guitar but if you need affordable one you probably go for the epiphone and then make a pickups upgrade. But in the Sound both sound awesome cause both got good woods the diference is the details and the manufacture.
I think you said it perfectly Sir. The Epiphone is a terrific guitar. Even the original pickups were really good. I honestly think the only weak area was the electronics. When I bought that epiphone a few years ago I truly didn't think I would be as impressed with it as I was. When I first plugged it in I was like holy crap, really?
